Lab Tech was fantastic, about time I found one that knows what they are doing. And good at it

I used to see Tara Bronson, RNP, but she is no longer with the practice. I was never told this but after having a Telehealth visit twice with Dr.Boyle, I asked why. I don’t like Dr. Boyle. She argued with me when I told her I found a Lone Star Tick on me. (It’s pretty obvious and URI confirmed the next day.) Then she lied to me about what my insurance requires for me to get an MRI for my shoulder. (I called to verify b/c I didn’t believe her. My gut was right.) I don’t appreciate being lied to, nor someone who is dismissive with my concerns. I would never recommend her. As such I am leaving this practice. It’s so hard to find a good provider these days. And yes to the previous posts- getting a hold of someone is a joke. You have to wait on hold for 30 min to an hour or more just for someone to pick up the phone. This is unacceptable!

I have been waiting for 4 business days for a simple prescription re-fill, while they told me the longest I’d have to wait was 3 business days. Twice today I have called and been put on hold for 20+ minutes only to be hung up on immediately after someone answers. The lack of organization and care they take into refilling IMPORTANT meds is absolutely ridiculous.

November 2020. I’ve gone here for many years. This place was struggling already with COVID, but after Dr. Regan went on sabbatical it fell to pieces. It’s as if there is no central office any more. There are long delays for everything. Any issue requires phone calls and emails to different people in different places. No knows who you are. I couldn’t even schedule a flu shot. Dr. Boyle has nothing to do with Dr Regan’s old patients. Dr. Byon “volunteered to help out.” My televisit with him was a disaster. I’m stuck for now because it is so difficult to find a new GP, but I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Stay away!

If you want to wait months to get an appointment go here. I’m not waiting three months just to verify a pregnancy and get a referral to an OB. I’ll be calling Tricare to change to another practice. This is just ridiculous.

Dr. Boyle has been my doctor for almost 20 years, and she's wonderful. However, since Southcoast bought her medical practice several years ago, the office is increasingly run as a corporate business focused on the bottom line rather than patient health and well-being. The goal is to process as many patients as possible per day, rather than allowing time spent with people as individuals experiencing health issues. Again, Dr. Boyle is great but the way the office and practice operates overall is impersonal and policy-driven. More concerned with their rules than whatever unfortunate, untimely health issue you may be having. I recently called the office six times in seven days without getting an actual person on the phone and my messages were not returned. I was calling for a simple prescription refill. There is no time for personal care here, you are just a number and must be processed as quickly as possible. Overall patient well-being is not a priority. I don't begrudge any business for being profitable but when it comes at the expense of your patients, it seems you've lost sight of what your "business" is actually meant to do in the first place. After nearly 20 years, I've made the difficult decision to find a new primary physician and I would not recommend Southcoast to anyone.

Waited months for an appointment for annual checkup. Office staff never returned two phone calls about having blood work in advance of appt. Wait time in office 30 minutes (and counting) despite the receptionist telling me I was about to be ushered in. Got tired of standing so I'm back in the waiting area.
