Always 5 stars for locations I can take my dog into. There's lots of interesting animals, fish, and birds to see, and but at this location. There's also a dog groomer and trainer onsite. There were lots of special and bundled items when I was there today. It's pretty common for them to have sales and discounted items at this store. Staff are always friendly and polite.

I recently took my Shih Tzu-Poodle mix to Petco Grooming, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience, thanks to the talented Molly-Jeanne. From the moment we arrived, Molly-Jeanne's warm and friendly demeanor put both my dog and me at ease.
Our pup can be a bit anxious during grooming sessions, but Molly-Jeanne handled her with such care and gentleness that she quickly relaxed. Molly-Jeanne took the time to discuss the haircut I envisioned, and her attention to detail was evident in every step of the process.
When I returned to pick up my dog, I was amazed at the transformation. Molly-Jeanne had given her a wonderful haircut that not only looked adorable but was also practical for the summer heat. The cut was even, well-blended, and perfectly suited to her breed's characteristics. It was clear that Molly-Jeanne is a true professional who takes pride in her work.
Additionally, my pup was in great spirits, showing no signs of stress or discomfort, which is a testament to Molly-Jeanne's gentle handling and expertise. The entire experience was seamless and pleasant, making it clear that Petco Grooming, with Molly-Jeanne at the helm, is a top-notch choice for pet grooming.
I highly recommend Molly-Jeanne at Petco Grooming for anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate groomer. Her wonderful haircut on our Shih Tzu-Poodle mix exceeded my expectations, and we will definitely be returning for future grooming needs if we are ever back in the area.

I used to shop here frequently years ago but now only come in once and a great while and, YIKES... this place has really gone downhill. It's filthy, always has half finished projects everywhere, and you can never find help. I went in to get a few fish to put in an established 40. They looked ok in the store under the artificial lighting. I went home and put them in the tank and by the next morning the Black Moore was COVERED in cottony fungus (not ich, but a fungus). The following day it was on one of the Fantails and the poor Black Moore appears to be knocking on death's door. I called the store to speak to someone in aquatics and was informed that there was no one there in that department. She asked what I needed to talk to them about and I told her that I wanted to inform them that they had a super contagious fungus in their tank. It's planted, so they really need to treat the system and not sell any plants or fish in there until they get it under control. The girl on the phone had a lackluster, DGAF attitude. She didn't even ask which tank system it was (I did stress which one, twice). It would not surprise me if no action was taken. Over the years I've had several tanks, and many different types of fish, so I'm not a newbie. I know that every time you add new fish you risk introducing something to your tank. I'm thankful I was starting this one over and didn't end up contaminating a big tank of fish, but I'll probably lose the Black Moore and now need to treat my whole tank. This Petco's response to the problem is what upsets me more than anything. They clearly do not care and I'm certain will end up contaminating other tanks. I should've followed my gut when I saw how shitty that department looked, but there aren't really a ton of options in the area for fish. Lesson learned.
