The new facility is beautiful and spacious but with the same welcoming atmosphere as always. Doctor Maher is kind, professional and answers all questions no matter how big or small. He’s been my Orthopedist since 1984 and I wouldn’t change a thing.

About James O. Maher III, MD
"James O Maher III, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Alpert School of Medicine, Brown University. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr Maher specializes in the treatment of student, recreational and professional athletes. His comprehensive approach to treatment includes medication, activity modification, physical therapy or surgery. Dr. Maher uses the arthroscope to do minimally invasive surgery of shoulders, knees and ankles. A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Maher also completed his orthopedic residency at the same institution. Dr. Maher spent four years with the US Navy, stationed in Newport, where he was the team physician for the Naval Academy Preparatory School.
