She did an excellent job on my three framing requests, offering expert advice for my 3d art piece in a box frame. The price was lower than other bigger competitors (we all know who, don't know if I can say here), and I felt like I got attentive service from someone who really knew their stuff.

Skilled, knowledgeable framing service at very reasonable prices. Conservation of paper and fabrics a specialty and replacement of old framing with acid free paper and protective glass to preserve materials done.

I've been meaning to write a review for this shop as the way I was treated by the man working or maybe even the owner, still upsets me. My boyfriend and I bought a map from a vintage shop in CT of the world and said "One day when we have a boat and we are sailing around the world I want this on the boat" We completely understood what we had purchased, but it was for our own use. A few years of lugging it around as we are sailors and constantly move made us quite sad, but it kept us reaching for our goal to one day buy a little sailboat and sail around the world. We finally bought our first sailboat a few years back and I measured out a spot for the map. Unfortunately, due to little or no wall space I asked my boyfriend if he would be okay cutting the map down to frame (preserve it). There would have been no cutting into the map, just about 1/2 inch off the bottom outside of the boarder. I took the map into this shop as I am local to the area, and talked to the man who seemed to have the authority of the owner. I told him what I wanted to do and he was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE. He got huffy and told me I was ruining a piece of artwork and absolutely no he would not frame my map. I understand people's beliefs and passions but we purchased this map with our money to put on our boat as a symbol of the hard work we had done to get there. He could have said it in a nicer way, but he did everything but tell me to get out of his shop. Completely miffed I brought the map to another frame shop in Warren (who I have rated 5 stars) and she was so kind and lovely, not to mention appalled by the story I told her. We now have our beautifully framed map on our sailboat the way we wanted it. This is no way to run a business sir, and I will never send anyone to your shop.

The owner is a pro photographer and can help you decide what frame will work for you. He has done several jobs for me and I am entirely satisfied with the results.
