Went there on 2/17/2024. It was exactly 11:58 am two minutes to close and as I’m about to open the front door to go inside the staff locked the automatic on the door lock. That’s a really nice way to treat my company that uses this bank and for all my banking needs and my personal banking. This branch is way different on how they treat their clients very disappointed since I had to withdraw money to pay my employees. I’ve had other staff at the Portsmouth branch 5 minutes pass their closing time and on a Saturday too come and open the door and assist with my needs.

Pretty glad they've put virtual assistants in here at the drive- thru. If I'm lucky I might get virtual assistance. Quite the construction going on currently, although it still seems functional. I don't believe the bank building is open while it's under reconstruction, but it's ok. Next gen virtual assistance is available

Citizens Bank is the worst bank I've ever dealt with, especially the Wakefield branch. They make it impossible to business. They're great if you're interested in a bank that only says "no". Cannot wait to close my accounts.

walked in thinking I was only going to be a customer for two months while I completed a new customer promotion that I received in the mail, ended up meeting Donna and getting unbelievable service from a banker that I did not expect from a commercial bank. She went above and beyond with follow up, even a small error resolution which she promptly handled, and now they have gained a customer for life thanks to her! Thank you Donna and Middletown citizens!

The slowest drive thru service no matter how simple your transactions. Don’t go here if your in a hurry. You may as well go into Stop & Shop branch, you’ll be back to your car in same amount of time. I just don’t understand what takes so long when they go back and sit at their computers for a simple cash deposit. Most recently, in a hurry, waited behind someone for over 10 min and watched the drawer open up 3 times with whatever being passed back and forth. Ridiculous and last straw with this place. They may as well have closed this branch rather than remodel it. Or hire staff with a little friggin hustle.

Drive thru IS NEVER OPEN.. Might as well take the thing out. Yall never use it. Waste everyone's time having to walk in and wait in line when everyone has kids and animals with them...

The newly renovated space does not have doors on their offices. Ever since we opened up an account I've been getting all kinds of phishing and spam messages and emails. I didnt realize when I was setting up account that people had walked in off the street and were waiting to speak with the person helping me set-up my account. They were literally 5 or 6 feet away. The person helping me didnt have sense to ask me to maybe write it down so he could enter it in the system. They a could have heard my email, phone, home address, DOB and SNN. I tried to contact the office about this and couldn't get a person on the phone to help me. How ridiculous this is that they handle money and all kinds of personal information and they don't put any doors on their offices.

Went there to cash a check that was written off their bank and they refused to cash it. Was told to go deposit at my bank or open a new account. Yet if you open a new account with them the funds will be on hold. Makes no sense that they will not cash a check drawn off their bank.

I've dealt with this branch for 22 years, business, personal, student loans, car loans etc. They have been great! Very helpful, cooperative and a pleasure to deal with!

Never answers the phone, keeps poor care of the costumers. Worst bank ever to keep your money and work with. This place shouldn’t even exist anymore

Had a really interesting experience opening my account. They couldn't accept the cash I gave them to open and said it needed to be deposited in the ATM. Upon transferring the money into bigger bills $22 went missing.... Teller was also writing my personal information down in a private notebook that I had to request the page for at the end with my SSN on it..... after about 3 hours of chaos I had my account open. A few weeks go by and the teller calls me asking for some personal tax information to complete my account opening (profit loss form for my small business) and said he would meet me anywhere for it. Obviously this was the last straw and I called corporate whom opened a case on it but eventually ended up ghosting me after I withdrew all my money and closed my account. Extremely disappointed in this bank and concerned on the safety of my personal information.

They don't have the time to answer a few questions from a deaf senior citizen over the phone. Just kept hanging up in her. I called myself to talk to a manager but conveniently none were around.. Say bye to another account.SMH.

TERRIBLE SERVICE....I called them this morning....it was like too much trouble for them to answer my question.....some male answered the phone....he told me to call back when ATM is emptied....I did ......and got another rude employee....will not use them anymore will go to S&S from now on
