Whitehead Preserve at Dundery Brook offers a serene and tranquil experience for visitors. The 2.5-mile out-and-back boardwalk trail provides easy access to meadows and marshland, with free parking available near the tennis courts. Amenities include two porta-potties in the parking lot, though picnic facilities are limited to single benches. The trail is dog-friendly, but visitors are advised to bring leashes and cleanup bags. While wildlife sightings may be limited, the preserve boasts a beautiful natural setting, especially in the spring. Signage could be improved to help first-time visitors navigate the various paths, but overall, the Whitehead Preserve provides a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience.

I've walked a bit of this trail in L.C.,RILocated at veterans field. There's a sign telling the history behind the trail before you begin a serene journey. Even mud won't disturb your walk. Spring is a good time to go. No dogs allowed. Di
