Update: I have now cancelled my auto insurance with them. My new company sent me cards without asking for free, and their annual rate is half of what Amica charged.They wouldn't mail me my insurance cards because they said I was on e-statements. It cost 50 cents to mail them, but I pay them 1200 in premiums a year. I have cancelled one of my policies because of this. And if this continues on my next renewal more policies with be cancelled. They are losing hundreds in premiums over being cheap about 50 cents.They also refuse to reply to multiple emails. I had to file a BBB complaint just to get them to respond.

Non-Existent Customer Service but whatever is left is Shady. I talked to tone agent and got one story I talked to another agent got another story. I thought what the heck let's roll the dice and start off with some renters insurance. As soon as they had all my money all the sudden it's like a black hole where you get no response no help. They don't even confirm when you add a scheduled item that it's insured or not. Have you ever heard of Amica Insurance? I've been around the block many times I've never heard of them I've heard of Allstate I've heard of Safeco I've heard of Farmers and State Farm but I've never heard of Amica and I should have let it stay that way. If you want a lot of headache and hair pulling and I mean pulling out your own hair then go ahead and roll the dice and go with the Amid and see what happens.

I had to wait approx 5 hours for a tow truck to tow my car to the mechanic. I got stuck in the Westerly RI area and they said they were having trouble locating a tow truck for me. I found this unbelievable! Original when I got stuck it was on a Sunday night and I submitted a ticket thru their online system. The reply was given the limited resources they had, no one could get to me until the next day!. What was I supposed to do, sleep in my car?

Amica Insurance #amica I saw your Commerical "Empathy is our best policy" lol I am laughing my a off because you kicked me and my husband off your insurance just because of first and last speeding ticket we had more than years ago. There are better insurances than you ! That's why we never come back to sign up with you never again !

I have been with AMICA for 28 years insuring my family cars and home and extremely happy about them. They always responded to our claims promptly (no more than 2 days), followed up often through out the entire process and issued payments timely. I am extremely happy they just paid for a claim of a water damage in my house that happened almost 15 years ago!! I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Never been more satisfied with an insurance company. The level of customer service is outstanding, superior to anything I've ever experienced. The company is owned by us, the policyholders. Smart!! This translates to lower rates, and the distribution of dividends (typically, never a guarantee!) at year's end. When I have had either an auto or a home claim, they have been paid quickly without problems or arguments. Their online presence is fantastic, their mobile app is seamless. Intuitive, bug-free. I can one million percent recommend Amica to you for insuring your car and home!

If I could give Amica negative stars, I would. One of their insured drivers hit my vehicle and caused major damage, along with medical bills. Amica has been nothing short of impossible to deal with to resolve everything. They tried to total my vehicle and severely underpay me and when I went through my insurance it ended up being a 20% repair compared to the value of my vehicle. I have had countless conversations with their reps that have been extremely unprofessional and their resolution to my problems are laughable, with no explanation whatsoever of how they calculate anything. I wouldn't touch this company if my life depended on it. Get your $#@! together, Amica!

Amica let me know the night before my closing that they would not be providing insurance for my property purchase. They had insured the property for the previous owner for over 30 years but suddenly had a change of heart at the last minute. They offered no reasonable explanation and were unapologetic. Do yourself a favor and find a better insurer to work with.

the customer service representative did not care about our loyaty with them and was not helpful but very rude the accident happened on february 27 and they are not folloowing up the police report i had to pay deductible and rental out of my pocket without my fault the other party ran the red light the police came to the site of the accident gave me a report number for my insurance company to fpllpw up i gavr the insurance company the name , ************* number of the police officer she just said they will wait for the police report and then process my claim we have 3 cars . ************** insurance with them for more then 10 years but she did not care she said i can change my insurance if i want to her name is ***************************
