Utterly obsessed with their dishware. High quality and gorgeous and love that they have a Butterfingers Policy (not that I've used it).

Just as rowantree is the iconic pottery that says "Maine" to all ceramic collectors, Peter Pots is Rhode Island's signature art pottery. Stunning glazes, beautiful yet totally functional and sometimes whimsical, and a studio/shop in one of the most wonderful natural settings in all of Southern New England. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the wares, but also sit for awhile on the bench in the meadow and listen to Glen Rock Brook go rushing by and the birdsong in the nearby woods. Enjoy the quiet of this secluded rural spot - no motor or highway noise - wonderful!

Peter Pots Pottery is a gem of a studio located in West Kingston, Rhode Island. Located in a historic mill, this showroom is home to a wide assortment of pottery designs. I love perusing the shelves and the designs displayed throughout this establishment. Their product is just fantastic. I am in love with the pottery and wish it were closer so I could visit more often. They create and sell a variety of:- Tableware (plates, bowls, cups)- Servingware (Bowls, pitchers, platters)- Bakeware (Casserole dishes, mixing bowls, pie plates)- Home and Garden (Vases, lamps, piggy banks)- Accessories (Spoon rests, jars, candleholders, salt and pepper shakers)The setting is so picaresque. A small waterfall, river, park benches, daffodils, the list goes on and on. The pottery is of excellent quality and it's hard to not leave with the whole store each time I visit.

Nice little hidden gem. The Pottery is beautiful. A little pricey. My boyfriend got me a little piggy bank and a kitty bank for himself. They are absolutely adorable and he also bought Kitty salt and pepper shakers. This is a nice little stop after a wonderful ride through the country roads. If you like pottery, it is definitely a must stop.

It's been years since we last visited Peter Pots and it has changed indeed. It used to be a rather prosaic no-frills showroom, but it looks to have been remodeled and it is a more welcoming, warmer, and brighter space. What hasn't changed is the wares - a still charming and diverse assortment of housewares and decorative items. What also hasn't changed is its beautiful waterway and view of the Queen River, bespeaking its heritage of a former millwork. It's a bit out of the way, but well worth the visit - we picked up some nice stocking stuffers for the holidays!

I’ve been collecting and using Peter Pots for, yikes, about 50 years! Not only are my pieces works of art, but they also stand up to the test of time. If you’re unable to visit the West Kingston shop, they will deliver. But, if possible, I recommend an in person trip. See where it all happens. It’ll be a trip for all your senses!

I've lived in the area for 30 years and this was the first time that I've been there, needless to say that it won't be the last. I actually drove home to get my wife to bring her back before I got into trouble for buying everything

Charming shop of hand made treasures hidden away by a stream in an old water powered mill. You will find the "perfect gift" here.

Such a special little gem in Rhode Island! The pottery is all stunning, love the use of neutral and natural colors. The building is an old mill with a waterfall out the window, so pretty! Definitely stop if you’re nearby!
