Ocean state recovery is an amazing place for those struggling with addiction and mental health. The case managers are always there for you! They check on you every day! They make the best effort for getting you everything you need. The case managers and owners of OSRC are some the most compassionate people I’ve met. The therapist there are truly wonderful!!! They are full of empathy and grace. They dig deep. When you cry, a couple of them cry with you. They take everything you tell them to heart and truly care!! I wouldn’t be here today sober and loving myself if it wasn’t for them. Also, the people who are in the program with you are absolutely genuine. Some of the best of friends I’ve made in a long time!! Beyond blessed to have attended PHP at OSRC!! I also can’t say thank you enough to all the staff, and the connections I’ve made!

I'm a mental health professional in private practice who was introduced to OSR because my adult son was in the program, and my husband and I participated in the parent support group. Professionally, I do not hesitate to refer my clients to OSR. Their approach to treatment goes beyond fellowship and teaches clients about addiction and brain chemistry. Fellowship is important but learning about what is happening in the brain gives clients a deeper understanding of why it is so difficult to stop using. In addition, OSR helps clients address unresolved traumas that can often be the root cause of the addiction. This complex approach is unique. I considered it the gold standard of care.

Drug and alcohol addiction, for me, is a matter of life and death. I can, in no way, adequately articulate the complete and total paradigmatic shift of core beliefs that occurred within me as a direct result of treatment at OSRC. What I can say, is that this change has lead me, for the first time in my life, to have unmitigated hope for a future beyond which I ever thought possible.

If you're looking for a place to go for your addiction this is the place to go, the staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met they never judge and are there for you no matter what. They help with almost everything you need help with, from food to housing. Don't underestimate this place they are really amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my journey of recovery!

After completing a residential program, I spent three transformative months at Ocean State Recovery Center. This experience proved to be an invaluable continuation of my recovery journey, offering a blend of professional support and peer-driven growth opportunities.
The center's staff are truly exceptional, each bringing their unique approach to the recovery process. The group sessions varied significantly in style and content, ranging from casual check-ins to profound explorations of past traumas. This diversity in approach ensured that we were consistently engaged and challenged in our recovery work.
Perhaps the most impactful aspect of my stay was the one-on-one sessions with my counselor, Taylor. Her guidance was instrumental in helping me develop the tools necessary for deeper self-understanding. Taylor's ability to truly listen and understand created a safe space for me to explore my personal challenges.
The peer-to-peer interactions in group sessions were equally valuable, often providing unexpected insights. Hearing from others in similar situations helped shift my perspective and encouraged me to consider aspects of my life I had previously overlooked. This collaborative environment fostered both personal reflection and mutual support.
The center's commitment to comprehensive care was evident in their attention to both mental and physical health. The nurse practitioner diligently managed my medication regimen, addressing adverse reactions promptly and effectively. Additionally, the staff provided practical support, assisting me with completing Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) paperwork.
They also coordinated with my external therapist, ensuring I could continue working on myself after completing the program. This continuity of care has been crucial in maintaining the progress I've made.
While I've made significant strides in my recovery, my time at Ocean State Recovery Center has also illuminated how much more there is to learn about myself. However, I feel confident that the center has set me on a solid path forward. The tools and insights I've gained during my stay have been instrumental in shaping my ongoing recovery journey.
For anyone seeking a supportive, comprehensive, and personalized approach to addiction recovery, I wholeheartedly recommend Ocean State Recovery Center. Their dedicated staff, diverse therapeutic approaches, and focus on long-term wellness create an environment conducive to meaningful change and personal growth.

Anyone struggling with addiction and are willing to keep an open mind, I highly recommend Ocean State Recovery.
The counselors and staff are down to earth and compassionate.
The team strives to see each individual make the positive changes and progress needed for their journey. I will be forever thankful to my counselor and team for giving me the coping tools necessary to move forward with my sobriety!
Grateful for the new connections I've made through the I.O.P. group.
This is my first and hopefully last time seeking treatment. If need be, I'll be going back to Ocean State Recovery!

I'm blown away by the incredible experience I had at Ocean State Recovery. From the moment I stepped into their office, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made me feel at ease from the very start.
The therapists who lead the groups are truly exceptional - they have a gift for digging deep and helping you confront and heal from the root causes of your addiction in a way that I've never experienced before. It's clear that they genuinely care about their clients and are dedicated to helping them overcome their struggles.
What really impressed me, though, was the sense of community and camaraderie that permeates the entire facility. The staff does an amazing job of bringing everyone together as a family, creating a supportive and uplifting environment that makes it easy to feel comfortable opening up and sharing your story.
Overall, I would highly recommend Ocean State Recovery to anyone struggling with addiction. The combination of compassionate care, expert guidance, and supportive community makes it an outstanding rehab facility that truly gets results.
