I noticed prices have gone up a lot. It's not as high as other markets but prices are going up. I did still save some cash. I am a market Basket person, u save if you buy market basket items. I like brand name. I will still go but only buy things on sale.

Shopping today realized it’s not just the long line that are out of control but it’s the isles they are so busy instead of putting out stuff as they need it they overstock the shelves
Leaving milks and refrigerator items to spoil faster. The bathroom also is filthy the infant change station is gross , use ur back seat it’s cleaner. I feel bad for the old folks in here buying stuff waiting in line for ten minutes no wheelchairs available or charging. I think mgmt can do better. The staff is very friendly and it’s an affordable place to shop but they need to consider these issues before someone gets sick from their lack of doing it right. This is a huge issue for the health dept.

1st time going into a market basket on 10/19/2024,@ 11am. must say was very clean well stocked loaded with employees and the prepared foods counter had some real good food. Overall a better market then stop n shop hands down the parking lot was loaded with cars and hardly any lines at registers. Will definitely start doing all my grocery shopping here for sure

the food is good and prices are fair. their downfall is the hot food section. workers are always talking to each other, but not working while doing so. people go there for lunch during their work day and the workers are taking their sweet time. its happened every time i’ve gone. it’s annoying because it’s not hard to talk and work.

Overall most of the prices are far better then other stores around. The meats s I found are superior not only in price but quality. If you're looking for lobster, they are always around $4 or more less a pound than the other grocery stores. The fish is generally a dollar or two more expensive, however, as well as some other items in the seafood section. The Deli is very well priced. We shop here often. I highly recommend if you go on a weekend. Get there extremely early like around opening time as it gets very hectic!

This is a beautiful and clean market, it has everything and it's the only place I can get my non-dairy Oui. It has sugar-free creamer, the produce section has fresh veggies and the food court is a plus, I shop without feeling hungry the options are great, cold, pizza and sushi. Every section of Market Basket has what I need. Thank you Market Basket

All of the following remains true. The stocking methods at the Johnston store is rather frustrating. They often over stock the sales floor with one product, but then bury another item under the excess. It would also be more efficient for staff to use long, narrow carts for transferring products during peak shopping times. Too often the aisles and shelflves are blocked by a pallet and truck.
