“What a fantastic experience! I was greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival and given an overview of how to navigate the museum. It is so organized and easy to explore the collection of cars in 7 galleries. Each and every car is in absolutely pristine condition, super shiny and have individual descriptions with fun facts.
Lighting at the museum is perfect for photos with a mobile phone or camera. I took lots of photos and videos of the incredible details of the classic cars from another era as well as some that are current.
Newport Car Museum is a paradise for car enthusiasts and photographers(like me), as well as a fun activity for families. Exceeded my expectations and highly recommend a visit!”
“We stopped in for the first time. They have an eight mile road you can drive. Several walking paths are available.
Restrooms: Outdoor restrooms and inside they have air conditioned restrooms.”
“Norman Bird Sanctuary is a beautiful preserve in Middletown with extensive hiking trails, picturesque views, and excellent wildlife viewing. I went there for a hike on Wednesday afternoon, and stumbled onto their Wednesday Walks event, which was great because I got a guided tour of the sanctuary AND got free entry. The employees seem very passionate about their work, and offer a lot of group events especially for youth. I look forward to coming back and exploring more!”
“Greenvale was a lovely vineyard! We hosted an event for almost 50 Harvard Business School students there and they helped us have a private tour and tasting. The staff were extremely helpful, the prices were very reasonable, the venue was beautiful and the wine was delicious! All-around it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them.”

590 Ocean Ave, Newport“Fantastic lunch at the Inn. The food was just wonderful. Mussels, fish tacos, clam chowder, and a great shrimp and rice dish. The views with sailboats, yachts, and commercial ships were breathtaking.
Nearby activities: 7 main rooms available as well as 23 other cabanas and rooms, right on the beach. Tour the mansions on Ocean drive that belonged to the richest Americans of the 1890's, as well. As quaint shops in Newport.”
“Super unexpected gem minutes outside of Newport. 96 immaculate vehicles on display in a modern facility. Knowledgeable and friendly professionals walk you in and then leave you for a self guided tour. Gunther has an incredible collection here.”

117 Memorial Blvd, Newport“The Chanler...A by the shore mansion hotel with stunning views and a beautiful lawn. Staff were very good with only one hiccup. (Unnecessary seating altercation with dinner hostess). Also, only 3 stars because of our small guest room size and using the unnecessarily difficult shower and phone has be figured out. (Yes, we were given quickly forgotten usage instructions). The biggie is NO elevator! Get ready for a workout. Their tour guide Jeff is outstanding. He knows the area and it's history and gave us a nice surprise. Also they offer a handy shuttle. Also our room had a very welcoming patio again with stunning views. I would certainly enjoy this hotel again”
“We attended a wedding at the Quonset O Club. We were impressed with the grounds and the facility and the staff that worked their butts off and were still very polite and professional!!. We're not from the area but would definitely recommend this facility for a venue!!”

Wyatt Square, 575 E Main Rd, Middletown“Island art spot is a magical gem! We loved it when our children were younger and attended the wee classes. Mrs. Jen is amazing, nurturing and fun! Both my kids enjoy seeing her and we currently take full advantage of the toddler drop off class! My son looks forward to it weekly. When we can fit it into my daughter’s schedule, she attends and she loves it just as much.
Highly recommend it!”
“As a member of the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco we have reciprocal privileges to use the NYYC club (and Vice Versa) when we're are traveling. This goes for the NYYC Harbor Court station in Newport, RI. Our Commodore was having his "Commodore Cruise" in New England and the closing dinner was to be at Harbor Court. Now, with COVID there was a limit on guests amd total crowd for a dinner. We had over 100 cruising ew England and over 80 were due for the final dinner. Add Henri the hurricane to the mix and we had some challenges for the dinner. We had cocktails on the front lawn. Then, the NYYC set is up outside in the motor court area for dinner. This allowed us to get our entire group together. Weather was perfect. CalmBefore the storm as they say. We even had the opportunity to watch the clubs "colors" ceremony when they retreat the flag each evening prior to sunset. Now getting to the food and service. With COVID it is especially hard to find amd keep good servers. We struggle with that at our club. It here at the NYYC. First they had plenty of staff. A welcome reprise from those businesses who can't seem to ramp staff back up. Even more impressive, their staff are trained very well. Women first, serve from left, remove fromRight etc...I was thoroughly impressed that during COVID, and the night before a major hurricane, the NYYC was able to host the dinner for the StFYC and do so at such a best-of-class level. If you have a chance to visit Harbor Court, don't miss it!”

“Nov. 8th, 2023, we had the pleasure of having our daughter's wedding at the Galilee Beach Club. I cannot say enough about how well the complete event was handled, from the rehearsal dinner the night before to every detail on the wedding day!! This place and their staff are truly Top Notch!!! Would 100% recommend if you are wanting your special day to be PERFECT!!!...this is the place!!!!”

65 Ridge Rd, Newport“We have just attended the wedding of some very close family of ours and had a wonderful experience with the Ocean Cliff Hotel. From the moment we arrived as members of the wedding party we were made to feel as family. Our 'Captain' James was a wildly attentive and helpful young man who seemed to be everywhere at once. From the warm and receptive Front Desk Managers that greeted the family (and fixed any problems that popped up!) like Susan and Heidi to the wildly talented and responsive servers like John (who never failed to greet a guest or open the doors to welcome them!) Reidyn, Oswaldo, and Zander that jumped on every request or difficulty that came their way.Karl and Dan were our bartenders for the evening and there was not a drink mentioned that they could not create. They were exceptionally personable and made everyone feel like they were finally coming home after a long spell away.Taylor and Briana assisted with planning and had a solution or fix for every last minute change or addition that came by.Michael was our Night Auditor who quickly became our late-night guardian angel by providing and assisting our messy but well intentioned group with anything we needed. He was a fabulously knowledgeable individual that we were thrilled to have spent the late nights with. This beautiful facility and their unerring staff have made every single guest feel like they belong at every turn. My wife and I were truly blessed to spend a weekend here among so many people that made us feel so special and cared for during our short stay. I cannot recommend this location enough for weddings, celebrations or other events moving forward. We thoroughly look forward to our next return to the Ocean Cliff Hotel and it is solely thanks to the exceptional and selfless staff on hand to welcome all of us as family finally coming home.”

3009 Tower Hill Rd, Saunderstown“Great pool but too much sand that it needs to be vacuumed daily. Room were ok. Service was good. I do not know why there is a lock on the back gate to the pool. Especially since the front gate has trouble opening for the past two days. Only one exit should be a fire code violation and dangerous in an emergency which I and another guy explained to the front desk clerk who came out to the pool area because I put a chair in front of the gate to allow people to walk in instead of pushing a four digit code it.
Food and drinks: Great Italian restaurant and lounge”

You are steps away from Bowen's Warf, Brick Marketplace and tons of restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and you can get an Ocean View and a balcony too.The best part is the breakfast. Great location and great events.”
“My wife and I went to the Manhattan Shorts film review. The venue was beautiful, warm and friendly. Outstanding place for artistic presentations. We look forward to visiting in the future.”
