“What a great store! There's a large walk-in cooler in the back with all kinds of craft and local RI beers and coolers. Up front there are wines and snacks to satisfy anyone.”

“Very interesting entryway into this store. It almost felt a little naughty. Staff were friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately, I had no idea what I wanted, so that discouraged them a little. Prices were a little difficult to find on some items, but prices were reasonable. Plenty of parking and the store had an interesting flow around a centrally located check out booth. Check the blackboard in the entryway for deals and specials.”

“I usually get dussé and it’s so cheap compared to the rest of the island. Only paying $26 for a pint which is just about the same you would pay in the city (providence). Everywhere else on that island is charging 30-35 a pint. Bridge’s selection of liquor is a DECENT size for the size of the store. When I’m in Newport that my go to liquor store even if I have to go out my way”
“Very friendly and knowledgeable. They had lots of inventory, unlike other area liquor stores that are more boutique stores with less product and a much higher price point. I was assisted with finding wine I knew I wanted and given recommendations for other wines.”

“My first visit since they opened the new location with the new name. A small store with an amazing selection of wine and whiskey, my primary beverages. Had a nice chat with the owner and when I asked about stocking my favorite Irish whiskey, he immediately went online and located it. Hoping it will arrive soon! UPDATE: Purchased 2 bottles of Black Bush whiskey today! Thank you Liberty Wine and Spirits.”
“They have one of the best collections of hard cider in the state!
My only complaint is that their new location doesn't have a convenient spot to park a bike. Please consider adding a bike rack for those of us who live at the edge of comfortable walking distance!”

Lots of local brews- RI and N.E.. I've been increasingly frustrated with the lack of selection at the other place and will now exclusively be going here. Friendly staff and pleasant layout. “Ferreira's is one of only a handful of liquor stores on Aquidneck Island. So disclaimer...if I lived in a more liquor dense area, this store would have a slightly lower rating. Their selection is limited, especially when it comes to new and trendy alcohols. I often can't find things like mini boxes of wine, or a limited addition run of a beer that I can get if I cross over the border into Mass. But they do have a decent selection of your typical wines (J. Lohr, Robert Mondavi, etc.) and beer (Buds, Dogfish, etc.). I will say the staff is very friendly, and will often remember what you purchased last time, and will offer to grab it for you as soon as you walk in.”
