I have taken 2 of my pets to North Paws, first in 2019. The office staff and techs were always kind and caring. Sadly, we had to bring our cat to cross the rainbow bridge recently. We have gone through this process before, so we were familiar with the usual expectations. While in the private room, the vet tech notified us that this particular doctor does not use an IV catheter and instead uses seperate syringe injections. I was too sad to question the doctor's methods, but I wish that I did!!! She did not check for a vein, so I knew dehydration was not the reason. I will spare the details, but my poor baby was not able to pass peacefully! I should have spoken up, so I am sharing this now!On their website, North Paws lists that an IV is placed upon arrival "To safely and painlessly administer" the medications. I wish that this doctor followed the humane practice as expected!!****I hope that this never applies to another pet owner, but PLEASE ask if an IV can be placed if you find yourself in a similar situation there. What could have been a peaceful and painless farewell, turned into a heartbreaking and traumatic memory that I will never forget... ?

As a customer for 20+ years, my pets and i have had only the best experiences and care at Northpaws. Their relaxed and friendly staff allay any anxieties that are often transferred to pets. This practice is a model of health care for us all.

Made a new patient appointment, they had a cancellation for the following day which I showed up for on time, and someone failed to enter it into the system. Instead of accommodating me since it was an error on there part they wanted to reschedule.Thumbs down for customer service! Very bad first impression... I will be going elsewhere.

We have been taking our dogs here for years and have never had a bad experience. We find the staff to be very compassionate and professional. The prices always seem reasonable and comparable to other veterinary offices. Dr. Connelly is one of our favorites and is always super helpful and clearly very knowledgeable.

We've been taking our dogs to North Paws for many years. They are highly competent, friendly and nice. The offices and examining rooms are really attractive, and the staff genuinely cares about our little dogs.

NorthPaws has done an excellent job caring for our dog since she was a puppy. As you’d expect for veterinary car these days, the prices can be high, but overall they are reasonable and the staff is friendly despite our multiple visits.

Multiple bad experiences after being a client for a few years. I actually heard the vet techs talking in the area behind the clinical rooms about feeling bad for charging excess procedures to customers. Then I had them be completely unhelpful and unsympathetic as my dog was dying at their office. More concerned with money than ethical and compassionate care.

My two beloved, rescued dachshunds have been patients at NorthPaws for 12 years. Prior to March of 2020, the care that my dogs received from Dr. Dyer snd Dr. Fortier was compassionate and they received quality medical care. Over the last three years, Dr. Paradise and Dr. Connolly have never provided my two dogs with high quality veterinary care. In fact, it has been an absolute nightmare. Weekly visits, oral surgery, inadequate aftercare, and countless visits for negligent care have resulted in tragedy. There is no communication, customer service is absolutely non existent, snd there is little to no concern for the lack of quality care being given to pets in their care.My female visited NorthPaws on two visits within a five day period of time and was seen by Dr. Connolly. She was examined, severalX-rays taken, new blood panel…I was told Sophie was in excellent condition. Her kidneys, liver, heart, red/white blood cells…all PERFECT!!Within five days of our last visit, my sweet, healthy Sophie and her brave brother Thunder both passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023.NorthPaws has yet to return the phone call I made the day before their passing. It has been a devastating nightmare, and this tragedy should not have occurred.PLEASE, do not entrust NorthPaws with the care of your beloved pets. I am rid with guilt, heartbreak, and grief as a result of trusting Dr. Paradise.

The doctor and I had a confrontation regarding my last appointment and when I came in for the next appointment to discuss my pet and my issue at the last visit the doctor continually interrupted me and was raising her voice. She then stormed out of the room but not before telling me I should go else where since I’m not happy. That was almost two weeks ago. I received a call today saying my two dogs will not be able to have their spay and X-ray preformed in 6 days because the doctor refuses to see me pets. So unprofessional. I even spoke with the assistant later that day and apologized even tho I don’t feel I was not in the wrong.

I have had only wonderful experiences with this excellent practice; the docs have unfailingly treated our dog with great care, professionalism and great expertise. Both Dr. Paradise and Dr. Connolly are super: concerned, attentive, skilled. Everyone I've encountered at NorthPaws has in all ways been helpful. I trust our dog to their care with full confidence and without reservation.

Holy price gauging!!! If you like flushing money down the toilet, this is your vet. Dr. Paradise has been my vet for almost twenty years. I really liked him but no longer enough to compensate for the close to illegal over charging and price gauging his practice has become. They sneak in unnecessary costs and increase their prices CONSTANTLY. For ex, a medication will be $50 in January and increase by $5-10 every month so $70 by April. It’s become obnoxious and I have had it. As soon as another practice takes on new patents/dogs, I’m out. Find another vet if you can.

Northpaws more like BIG FRAUD. As a cat owner I expect them to be nice and treat my cats with respect as well as have information about my felines that can actually help them I highly recommend not coming to this place if you want actual advice or you care about your animal. In the past they would at least try to honor your request but they didn’t even attempt this time. I was thoroughly disappointed. Not only did they charge a ridiculous amount of money for a simple exam. They also could care less about your animal and your well-being as a human as well overall a horrible experience at North Paws and I highly recommend staying away from this place, and find a better vet. The vet tech here really seem like they got their degree from zoom university. It’s really unfortunate as this has been my go-to vet for a very long time and now I have to find a new one.
