Years ago i saw Dr. H. She seemed good, until she basically told me my dog got Lymphoma because of the stress brought on of my getting a puppy. Which is INSANE. She then said chemo shouldn't be done, & we should do Vit C therapy. Had i listened to her, my dog would have been dead LONG before he was, with successful chemo, at my traditional vet. Ive held onto this hurt & anger for years about her saying that to me at my most devastating moment. Then i ran into an old friend recently, who was SO hurt by something she was told by Dr. Hassinger as well, that I felt it was time for me to go public with a review.

This is the worst vet I have ever encountered she is a fraud. She claims she is holistic but still puts animals on harmful heart gaurd medicine her office manager was verbally abusive on the phone and kept screaming at me . I would never recommend anyone who wants a holistic vet here this vet and her staff has serious issues

After just 2 visits with this practice, I decided to take my 3 dogs elsewhere. The only positive thing to say is the waiting area is calming and the techs and front desk are nice. Don't be fooled by "The Forever Dog" book on display in the waiting room...Dr. Hassinger is not a true Holistic vet. After completing intake paperwork stating I was only interested in Holistic care, she pushed Nexguard and Heartguard on my dogs. The exam rooms are tiny, dark, and hot making it uncomfortable for yourself and your pet. The doctor cut me off mid sentence multiple times stating we were already running behind our scheduled time. At my second visit with a different dog of mine, I left with a bottle of 90 pills for my dog to take that was never mentioned during the visit. After driving 45 min. home, I noticed the charge and pills. (my fault for not checking, but again, it was never mentioned to me) I called the next day to find out what exactly the pills were since the label had no ingredients on it. There is no way to talk to Dr. Hassinger, everything is 3rd person communication and she let me know she doesn't respond to emails or take calls! After all these red flags, I called to transfer my records and I was called back, by her staff, to let me know her last urine sample showed elevated white blood cells and we would need to follow up with her new vet! This information was NEVER discussed with me and if I didn't call to have my records transferred, I would've never known the urine sample came back with those results! So my dog has had an infection for over a month because they failed to call me with her urine results! I let the staff know how disappointed I am and it sounded as though they completely understood my frustration with this "Doctor". I'm sure I'm not the first or the last to have an issue with Dr. Hassinger. The only thing that makes her "holistic" are her fees! Don't waste your time or money. Just because there's a "wait list" for her to see your pet, doesn't mean it's because she's a good vet!

Dr Hassinger and her staff are so great with my havapoo Bentley. He is so shy, they are all patient and kind. They take away some of his anxiety. I also appreciate the holistic methods used at Wolfrock.

Dr Liz Hassinger is the kindest, most gentle person I know. That’s why I traveled from Mass to RI to have her see my boy.

Dr Hassinger is very through when examining my cat. She spends time explaining and teaching me how to care for her. I like that she works with holistic medicine
