I absolutely LOVE this salon! Sam is the best of the best! I have super long hair that I don’t trust with just anyone but Sam kills it every time! I trust her with my hair 100%. She gets my blonde just right every time. I love the vibe of the salon, it’s so cute and cozy and everyone is super friendly. I would highly highly recommend Salon Stella if you’re looking for a cute, fun place and fabulous hair! ❤️

I've had the pleasure of watching Samantha's talent grow over many years. Her work is consistently impressive, and she never fails to achieve my hair goals. Every visit starts with a warm welcome, not just from Samantha, but also from the ambiance of her salon and her incredible staff. Samantha is truly an expert with hair extensions, keeping my blonde on point and excels in all aspects of her work. I frequently recommend her and her entire team to others. Sam has completely transformed my hair and confidence in the last 3 years! I have always had very fine hair and Sam has not given up on solutions to give my hair more volume to match the natural length.
She is always willing to learn new techniques and expand her offerings, while clearly demonstrating her expertise. I trust Sam with color, cut, extensions, and all recommendations! Added bonus - her personality makes for an extremely inviting experience! I have a made a great friend in Sam. I can’t recommend her enough!

A couple weeks ago a colleague told me she was looking for a new stylist and said I always have a great cut and color and wanted to know where I go. Well, I was more than happy to tell her I have been going to Salon Stella with the same stylist for, I think, 18 years. Not once have I ever thought about breaking up with Sam. Samantha has changed my style numerous times over the years, has given me honest feedback when I come in with crazy ideas and now knows she has to make me look young and always keep it a little sassy! The most personal, comfortable and talented stylist I have ever had.

Samantha has been doing my hair for over 10 years. I change my hair color often and every single time, I leave so happy with her work! I recently had the express keratin treatment and I highly recommend!! The salon is so clean and all the girls are so friendly. 10/10!

From the moment I sat in the chair in front of Sam, she made me feel like family. She invests so much of her time into her clients…from consults, to messages leading up to my apt to the full attention she provides the day of the appointment. She is present, pleasant and so talented. Every time I leave the salon, she makes me feel beautiful…and like I have caught up with an old friend. She is the best of the best! I am so grateful I found her.

Big city styles with a small-town luxe feel - if you’re looking for the perfect salon close to home, look no further than Salon Stella in Exeter, RI! After moving to a rural town nearby, venturing out into the city for hair appointments started to be too time consuming. I was so lucky and grateful to stumble into SS. I started seeing Samantha, the owner, in January of 2020. Since then Sam & her incredibly talented team have not only completely revitalized my look, but restored my hairs integrity. Thankful for all the stylists extensive knowledge in up to date hair care, lightening techniques, and styling products galore. Sometimes life gets crazy and I am not able to have my schedule and availability overlap with Sam’s; thankfully no matter whose chair I’ve found myself in, we’ve never skipped a beat in achieving the perfect look! The entire team is highly skilled and the girls are all just so lovely and talented! Grateful for this hidden gem in South County!
Specialties: I love the complimentary sips and snacks offered during your color services! The Starbucks Frappuccino is a perfect creamy pick me up during my appointment and their various snacks are always a nice treat!
Hair type: Long blonde hair, no extensions. Naturally an ash blonde. Medium thickness and normal texture.
Stylist: Samantha, Amanda, Allison, Sydney, and any of the fresh faces have never steered me wrong. Love a refreshing face frame appointment six weeks after a big blonding session! Gives me the brightness I crave around my face, while protecting my hair’s integrity and not over processing the back stands!

Salon Stella is by far the best salon I've ever been to. They're so welcoming and friendly and I constantly recommend them to anyone who says they're looking for a trusted salon. I go to Amanda and she has never let me down. I get so many compliments on my balayage even months after having my hair done. I highly recommend giving them a try you will be amazed with the skills the girls at this salon have!!
