“This place has a huge selection of beer, wine and spirits. And their prices are darned good too!! See that? I said Darned good!! Try using those words in Walmart! Lol. But seriously, this place has something for every occasion, or just for your daily needs. And if they don’t have it, they can certainly locate it for you. (staff member says so! ?) Ive been here a couple of times and they haven’t let me down.”
“Heres another decent liquor store, conveniently located next to Cowesett Plaza, on Cowesett Ave in West Warwick. It’s a small to medium sized store that has a big selection available. Prices are comparable to other stores so it’s not going to sting when you make a purchase.”

“My first visit since they opened the new location with the new name. A small store with an amazing selection of wine and whiskey, my primary beverages. Had a nice chat with the owner and when I asked about stocking my favorite Irish whiskey, he immediately went online and located it. Hoping it will arrive soon! UPDATE: Purchased 2 bottles of Black Bush whiskey today! Thank you Liberty Wine and Spirits.”
“They have one of the best collections of hard cider in the state!
My only complaint is that their new location doesn't have a convenient spot to park a bike. Please consider adding a bike rack for those of us who live at the edge of comfortable walking distance!”
“For years I was going somewhere else... down the street ... and had no idea this place existed. Better late than never. Excellent selection of beers, whiskey and wine. Lots of local brews- RI and N.E.. I've been increasingly frustrated with the lack of selection at the other place and will now exclusively be going here. Friendly staff and pleasant layout. Highly recommend.”

“The staff at Thorpes is one of the most friendly, helpful and courteous thar I've had the pleasure of interacting with! This goes for the owner all the way to the young clerks. The prices are very good, but it's the people who work there who are the reason I shop there. Whether it's help with in-stock items, or special orders for unique products, they are the best!! I've NEVER had a less than good experience here, and EVERYONE, from the owner to the entire staff, will do the best they can to accommodate you! My experience at the store today (7/12/24) reaffirmed what a great place and group to do business with!! ?”
“Hands down the best prices in town, I’ve been to several liquor stores around now and they have the best prices for most if not everything around.
Immaculate set up, everything super clean. Staff is always friendly, fun and courteous. The cashier remembered my usual just after 2 visits and now always knows what I want before I even walk up.

Bert was the best! This seems like an awesome, local, neighborhood liquor store, but was also incredibly welcoming to visitors all the way from Nashville, TN!”
“Not really sure why people complain about this liquor store. I've been here a few times and I never ran into an issue. The parking lot it big enough for a stop, or you can street park right in the front. You're always greeted, well I always was, and I've always had someone help me when I asked for help. The store is a regular size store, and has a good enough stock here. The prices are decent, some of the items are a bit overpriced but for the area, I expect this. They do have a range of things, and a lot of items are usually on sale. I once wanted a nip box, and they gave it to me, no hesitation. No issues at all with this store to me. Always clean and great customer service !”

“Friendly and helpful staff! Excellent selection of liquor, wines and beer. The prices are comparable to other places in the area, BUT!… access in and out is a lot easier than the other places! I’ve been here several times and I never had to wait more than a minute to get back onto route 2 !! The other place’s I’ve been to… I’ve waited up to three or four minutes and it’s even worse when police are directing traffic during the holidays!! Trust me folks…. House of Liquors is the place to buy your alcoholic beverages and mixers!! Conveniently located across from Lowes on route 2 in Warwick!!”
