4 month update and service (oil change) review - They make it quick and easy, super friendly and the place is always clean and nice. They returned the car cleaner then when I got there and it was pretty clean so impressive! Nothing but good things to say since buying our Outlander Sport.

Overall, I'm thrilled with how things worked out at Prestige. It's a great dealership, especially if you want something used. My 4/5 rating comes from inconsistency with stock on the website vs. in person. The only thing I would watch out for at Prestige is similar to other used dealerships: there are a lot of used luxury vehicles at great prices. Still, if you've been driving something more common, like a Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Chevy, etc., you could get blindsided by how much your insurance goes up if you switch to a luxury car. (A loved one had this experience with Prestige Westport, and the sales team wasn't super transparent about that change.) I'll write a detailed version below, but those are the headlines.
My car was totaled recently, and I decided I'd look for something used. I had been looking at Honda Fits available at the different Prestige locations. I noticed that a blue and yellow one posted at Westport seemed to get removed pretty quickly, so when I saw a 2016 Fit with 39k miles, I felt like I didn't have time to waste with setting up an appointment - I was worried this one would go fast, too. I clarified that I wanted to see this specific Fit because of its pricing, low mileage, and squeaky-clean CarFax report. I arrived at 5 pm to discover the Fit had already had a deposit placed on it, and this was frustrating for me. I thought it had been posted recently because it didn't appear in any of my searches on the Prestige site until the night before I made the appointment. I could've missed it, or someone could've swooped in quickly, but I immediately thought it might be a bait-and-switch situation, especially considering the mileage on the Fit. I'm sure plenty of dealerships do this because the alternative is the potential buyer cancels, and then there's no chance of a sale. Still, it felt like oily salesmanship, and this initially put me off. However, as I interacted with the sales team and learned more about what they had on the lot, I was open to shopping there.
Ruben was my salesperson, and he was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The first time I came in to look at that Fit, it was almost closing time for Prestige. After finding another car I was interested in, Ruben clarified I could take my time on the test drive and bring it to my mechanic to get checked out. When I arrived back, I didn't feel pressured to take immediate action - Ruben offered to hold it for me through the next day.
When I returned the 2nd time, Ruben immediately got me set up for another test drive so I could make a more informed decision about the purchase. He was also honest about the make (Subaru) being one of the most trustworthy brands, given not only his professional experience but also his personal experience as a car owner. I was already set on either Subaru or Honda, but it was great to hear his feedback as a consumer, not just as a salesperson.
When I returned, Ruben was accommodating and transparent with the next steps. He also helped with the minor tasks that stressed me, like switching the insurance over, etc. When I decided to purchase the car, I went to financing, and though I don't recall the finance person's name, I can tell you he was very straightforward, kind, and helpful.
Buying used at Prestige (under 100k miles) has a lot of benefits, particularly when getting the vehicle serviced. I'm excited to have their team working to keep my Subaru in excellent condition.
TLDR: I wouldn't say I liked how things started with Prestige, but it seems likely that other car dealerships do the same thing to get you to come in. The team at Prestige Mitsubishi in EP is incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable - I have nothing but positive feedback for the staff I interacted with once I went in person. Prestige is also a great place to go if you need to look at quality cars but might not have the best credit. It's so early

I normally HATE coming to car dealerships and dealing with car salespeople, but Carlos was so wonderful, I will be bringing more friends here. He was so helpful and nice. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had.

Wanted to get a nice truck. The first truck we looked at was a little beat up and wasn't the best, when Mike knew I was serious about getting a decent truck, he took me right over to another one with less miles and had a nice line x bed liner, they even worked with me for a more affordable price, thank you so much to Mike and team.
