We worked with Craig Couture from Cypress Design to help us redesign our kitchen. They had done a kitchen renovation for our daughter in 2020 and we loved what they did with a small space. Our main goal was to bring the laundry upstairs. By combining the entry way with the existing kitchen space we created a 11x22 kitchen with the laundry hidden behind custom cabinets. They look great and gave us lots more storage to boot. We couldn't be happier with the result. We hired Morrissett construction to do the renovation. Brian and his crew were great to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cypress design and Morrissett construction for your next project.

Craig and Cypress designed a full kitchen remodel for us in 2017, we were and are still very satisfied. The space was laid out so it is very functional for frequent cooking, and looks great besides.
We just had them back to redo our primary bathroom, which came out great. He was able to suggest ideas that changed the space but still stayed in our "comfort zone" in both rooms. Highly recommend.

We were very happy with the bathroom renovation that Craig managed for us a few years ago. We recently had an issue with the sink, and even though it is well past the warranty period, he took the time to research things for us, and in the end, we were able to get the sink replaced. We appreciate the customer service provided even years after the project was completed.

We worked with Ryan in 2022 for our kitchen and bath remodel with the work being done by Redeemed Building. Working with Ryan was a pleasure. After a year of living with the renovations now, we are thrilled by how well everything still looks and how good the materials are, and how well the construction was done. Everything surpassed our expectations including timing, cost, quality, and design. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with Cypress Design and Ryan for my kitchen remodel, from the very first day all the way until the end. The show room is clean and inviting, and large enough to get a sense of all possible design options. Ryan is a very talented designer who really listened to my needs and produced the best design for my small kitchen. I was impressed by his responsiveness, professionalism, and overall efficiency. The results are stunning. Thank you Ryan for a job well done!

Would not recommend! I’ve been a contractor for over 20 years and I’ve never experienced more problems with a cabinet/design company. From inaccurate measurements to poor design. Little to no knowledge or consideration for the installation process. Gave them a couple of chances and I had several issues with both kitchen installs.Service: Kitchen countertop installation

Wonderfully helpful . We bought a house in which a bath remodel was done - Cypress did the design . It is a lovely buildWe ran into an issue with a faulty plumbing issue and need to retile the showerAlthough it was 4 years ago . Jamie went out of her way to help us locate the exact tile that was used .That kind of service for us - was truly impressive - and we didn’t spend a dime with them - yetOn my short list of favorite vendors

I was asking for referrals to have a bathroom remodeled at a get together recently. OMG the horror story I heard from a past client about Cypress Design. The designer actually measured the bathroom dimensions wrong and the cabinet had to be returned and a smaller one shipped in...and this was towards the end of the job. Embarrassing. The designer gets them a tiny sink with this massive faucet over it. Unreal. Designer disregards. Easy for the two of them to say. Then Cypress Design "recommends" a contractor who doesn't pull permits, hires a plumber who doesn't know how to install any of the designer's bathroom hardware. The tile guy. I saw pics...cut up a bunch of smaller pieces all over the place to make it "fit" and this was on top of a squeaky floor that wasn't squeaky prior. Shower tiles were already popping out. In case the owner responds with "I wish I was informed..." Umm you were informed and you were embarrassed by the contractor but yet you STILL used them afterwards. Couldn't have been too outraged. Your designer employee mistakes- you were sorry but you were already paid so. And I saw the contract you make clients sign. Talk about covering your butt on every possible scenario. No brainer- passing on this company for my project

We were referred to Cypress design through friends of ours. Unfortunately, our experience was not up to par with theirs. Communication completely ceased after a minor bump in the road concerning custom items that we decided not to use in our kitchen reno. We were especially surprised that our designer from Cypress failed to follow up with us upon the completion of our renovation. We invested quite a bit for our custom cabinetry and while our project was by no means the scale of other grand designs done by Cypress, there is a level of professionalism expected when it comes to projects of this nature. I would not recommend Cypress to others for this reason.I will say that the contractor assigned to our project was beyond amazing and professional. We plan to hire him and his team going forward.Services: Custom kitchen cabinet construction

If you go with this company expect:To pay material prices that are set for them to make a big profit on. This is on top of their designer fees.Craig will be responsive, but once he gets to the point of being aggravated, conversation will end. They make measurement mistakes. Inventory mistakes, item mistakes.Craig will go with style over usefulness. I think if a kitchen sink faucet that looked pretty faced the wrong way, he'd still suggest it for you because it looks sylish.Craig says sorry a lot. How many sorrys does it take for you to realize you need to reconsider how you do things in the designing business?Service: Kitchen cabinet design

Craig doesn't understand the words "functional" and "practical" when designing. Nor can he measure correctly. Owner also has contractors who don't pull permits. Even when you inform the owner, she still continues to work with him despite knowing this. Would not recommend!

If you don't mind things being change on your materials list (Cypress: Oops how'd did that happen?) Or if they change the price (Cypress: Oh out new price guy made a mistake). Or if they recommend things because they "look" good and are not practical (Cypress: Oh this would look good on this designer's portfolio, yeah who cares if it's not functioning like it should). Or they can't measure the height of a kitchen cabinet (Cypress: Don't worry, we'll ship it back for free and order a shorter one, who cares if construction needs to hold up because of this or the fact that you're paying the same price for a much shorter cabinet)

How can a designer not measure your bathroom correctly?

Is Yelp the only accurate review site? Because I have no idea how this company has received 4.9 stars on another site. Mind blowing! Cici and Susan's reviews were spot on. The designer doesn't know how to measure. Seriously. That's embarrassing. My itemized list suddenly had different materials listed. Prices changed. Funny, I bet they were banking that people wouldn't notice. Lame excuse on how they got caught. "clerical error" The materials are sorely overcharged..by a lot. Oh and their terms of service...yeah they spent more time and effort writing that up then they do about their designing services. They're very good with excuses as they have one for everything. Lastly, maybe some of the "designers" should take a course in Functionality 101. Their suggestions were pitiful ...i took losses on replacing some of their crap ideas. Hindsight--- hire a good contractor and get suggestions and do the legwork yourself.
