Tonight my son stopped into this establishment and needed assistance with a phone call and directions. You see, he's trying to get home for dinner with his family from the naval base in Newport. Unfortunately because of the bridge closure it has taken far longer than either of us anticipated. It's currently 6 p.m. and he's still not home, he left Newport at 230! I just wanted to say thank you to the person who is working for allowing my son to use the phone, charge his, and giving him directions. It means more than you know.

I used Brothers Gas for the first time yesterday 9/6 to repair my jeep.. I purchased my jeep used at Elmwood Jeep 4 years ago and at the time of purchase included the extended warranty for an extra 25.00 a month on top of the loan payment. Because of this, I have always brought it back to Elmwood for maintenance checks, oil changes, etc. Luckily up until this week, I have had no major repairs needed. I went to Elmwood the morning of 9/5 to make an appointment for service... they gave me a 9/20 date to drop it off.... two weeks !!! Let me also say this is the second jeep I have purchased from them I am not a new customer...Needless to say I left there upset...I wonder if I was man would they have squeezed me in sooner? Remember hearing good things about Brothers Gas from others, it was recommended by a friend to give them a call. I spoke to Leb the owner and he said to bring it right in. Just describing to him the problem I was having he knew exactly what was wrong. We then took the jeep for a ride and confirmed what he thought. He explained everything to me and unlike Elmwood he treated me with respect, sincerity and kindness... Likewise being a woman I always felt Elmwood talked down to me. I could go into detail what was wrong with my vehicle but it is immaterial ... just wanted to say that it would of been dangerous for me to drive that vehicle waiting the two weeks for Elmwood. After Leb explained it to me I could understand why. So to make this long story less long... My jeep was repaired yesterday 9/6 by Brothers. I am above and beyond pleased and 100% trust Brothers with my future business. If anyone needs auto repairs done please give Brothers Gas a call... ask for Leb... they service all models and do it all! I will never go back to Elmwood again either to purchase a vehicle or for repairs. I also found Brothers to be very reasonable... I am sure if Elmwood handled this repair it would of cost me double.

The guy that pumps gas is nice! The lady that sometimes does is not so nice. She seems to think she is better than everyone else. She should change that attitude. Especially if you work with the public!

When I first moved to Providence, I struggled to find a trustworthy mechanic (had some bad experiences other places) and am really relieved that I found Brothers Gas. I get gas here often and they were always so friendly and helpful with smaller things (replacing a wiper, filling tires with air, replacing a headlight I had the bulb for) without even asking for anything. When my battery was died, I decided to try taking it there. The price was very reasonable and they were very communicative. I had a repair with them recently when my car started making strange noises and the owner Lebanon was so thorough and kind. He drove the car while I sat in the passenger seat to identify the noise for him. He contacted me about the issue early that Monday (I had dropped it off that weekend) and made sure I was comfortable with what was being done and price range before his mechanic began the work. When the repair was done, the cost was again very reasonable, which I was grateful for, given that I didn’t have a ton to spend on repairs. He let me know that my tires were also needing replacing soon, but didn’t pressure me to get them done immediately. He offered to help me find used tires so I wouldn’t have to pay as much. Planning to get my tires replaced with them soon. Again, really relieved to have found this shop, very honest and helpful and respectful of cost. Highly recommend for vehicle repairs.

Love this gas station! Especially their decorations every year for the holidays everyone is super friendly and pumps the gas for you

Went to buy lawnmower came to an agreement. Instead of being honest he put the mower back out for sale when I left. He didn't Want to service the mower like he promised. Avoid this place dishonest.
