Third Rock Emporium is my absolute favorite place for rocks, the gentleman in here is so kind and I love talking about the stones with him, he's so knowledgeable and even does rock hunting and his own tumbling from nearby beaches, I love this place so much!!!

Went here after breakfast with my boyfriend. Place is super cool with all kinds of rocks and labels for where they came from. Store is also very affordable. We wound up buying a cool tiger eye necklace, 2 rocks, an ACTUAL fossil, and a cool pendulum. Shop owner was also very nice and knew what types of rocks we got without any questions. Really shows he knows what he's selling. Definitely coming back again with my grandma since she loves crystals.

My husband was looking for a larger amethyst. When you walk in it's warm and inviting. Great selection, and the gentleman that helped us is so knowledgeable and kind. We could've talked to him for hours. Im still wearing the beautiful rose quartz that I got that day. Go check this place out whether you are looking for big or small, beautiful collection.

Excellent selection of specimens (which is what we REALLY were looking for), and also a few polished spheres, towers, and carvings! Each piece had a card with the material name and source, which was super helpful! The customer service was also wonderful, as he showed us interesting parts of the pieces we received and gave my mom an amazing price on a certain specimen she had been seeking out for a while. Thank you for an awesome experience, we will definitely be back! Highly recommend everyone to shop here for beautiful specimens!

This is one of the most chill and awesome stores in all of Rhode Island. The vibe in the store is so great and the owner is so friendly and generous with his time and knowledge. He is truly an expert in his field. He's also a great DJ because the music he plays in the store is fantastic. Third Rock is one of my all time favorite stores:)
