I dropped off my broken vintage watch over the holidays expecting a call that it could not be fixed or would cost more than it was worth to do so. I was met with a smile, and despite the holidays, was excited to hear the watch was repaired in short order. I was so happy to have it back; it was pulled from the repair bag ticking away and at the correct time. Again met with a smile and kind explanation, I was only charged a nominal fee for the service. Highly recommended and thank you - I will be back!

I dropped off a ring and a bracelet both to be resized last week. Today, I picked both of them up and am amazed at how wonderful each piece looks. Both fit perfect and look brand new. I can't stop staring at my ring. Also, everyone in there is very nice and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Went in with my grandmother to get her diamond resized. The woman kept pushing sizes even though my grandmother were saying it was too tight. They sized it and she was right. Too tight. She goes back to get it stretched back out and they charge her nearly $80 to fix it. Without telling her they were going to charge her for the fix until they had already done it and she was picking it up. Will never go back. It’s clear how much they care about the money even when they’re conning an elderly woman.

We just had some estate jewelry appraised -- Each piece was meticulously cleaned and assessed. Documentation was perfectly detailed and provided seperatley for each piece. The Stencels are also very welcoming and their shop has an amazing selection vintage and new. Glad they are in East Greenwich and now my new jeweler.

The Stencil's are gracious and welcoming people. The store has a beautiful selection of fine jewelry(for all budgets), watches and estate pieces. They are happy to find the perfect gift or to just replace your watch battery. Tom is an excellent jeweler and can repair almost anything!

Amazing customer service & vintage collection: I stopped in to Stencel by chance, as I was in town for a site visit. I’d been looking for an engagement ring, but didn’t have a big budget and was trying to find something that really suited me well. Katrina was very patient with me & extremely helpful as I tried on several rings, and eventually found a beautiful vintage piece that I knew was right immediately! I wasn’t sure about the sizing, so they told me to wear it for a while and if I needed resizing they’d do it no charge. I did take it back to be sized down and it fits perfect now. I felt very cared for here & I’m grateful I found such a special ring with their help!
