I Loved this shopping experience and the variety of foods to choose from was amazing! They offer a free coffee as well..lots of organics such a plus for me personally...super nice staff

Love Dave’s, great selection, but prices have really gone up a lot more than other grocery stores in the area. This is one of those markets you go for certain things but don’t plan to only go here for your groceries if you’re concerned about your wallet. Produce - Apples and Grapes A+, berries and other produce C-

Great selection of quality meats, seafood, produce, etc. We ordered catering for Christmas Eve, everyone enjoyed the food. Absolutely delicious. Our go to store!
Dave's Fresh Marketplace of Cumberland opened in September of 1999 after 6 months of intense renovation of the former Cumberland Market of Chapel Hill. In 2007, Dave continued to reinvest in Dave’s of Cumberland, by redesigning and reconfiguring the interior décor to reflect a Cape Cod feeling. New pizza stations, hot bars, kitchen preparation and bakery departments were all added on to further serve our local neighborhoods. In 2018, we are looking to improve, upgrade and expand our Pizza Department, Meat Department, Prepared Foods and Deli's to better serve the needs of Cumberland! Stop by and grab a seat in one of our booths - grab some lunch with a friend, and do all of your shopping with us!
