Independent bike shops were the norm when I got my first MTB in the 90's. A lot has changed since then and it's not so easy anymore to find a gem like this place.

I was recently in the market for a new headlight for my bicycle. Found a really cool company named Outbound Lighting. The closest dealer to me was Blackstone Bicycles in Cumberland RI. I called the owner who told me they had several in stock so I made the trip and purchased one. Upon arriving home I unboxed the light to start the charging process. I immediately noticed signs of wear on the body of the light. Long story short I was sold a demo light which had been used on their shop rides. The shop did eventually swap the light out for a NEW one but still just not the type of bike shop that I am interested in doing any further business with.

This is a friendly bike shop where everyone I've interacted with seems to know their stuff very well and care about what they do. The folks are delightful, the bikes are awesome, and the essentials are well curated and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.I've been going here for tubes and parts for about two years, and last year, I purchased a shop-build mountain bike to try some off-road cycling. What I really like is that they listened to what sort of riding I wanted to do and set me up with a bike that is pretty much a perfect match. They built it up beautifully, even cutting the handlebars to give a better fit after I'd been riding it for a few months. After a year, I'm still very happy with the bike, and I have nothing but good things to say about Blackstone Bicycles.

My back tire blew out I literally just left an the cost was cheap an the work was great. Customer service was great ty guys for the great work an for the reasonable pricing.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable, helpful, made it look easy repairing 2 bikes for my children. Affordable prices. No complaints. I am happy with how everything went here. I liked to give credit when credit due. If you need repairs I recommend.

I dropped off my mtb for front suspension rebuild. They quote me price then when ready pick up and final price is less than what they quote me. They are honest with me. It's great service and patience with me. Definitely I will come back again.

I took a rear wheel to get new bearings and check the rear cassette. Took them 3 weeks after calling a few times when I finally got the wheel back the next day took it on the bike path and the bearings and rear cassette literally fell off the wheel. I had to walk 7 miles back to my truck. I ended up buying a new bike from Sirois bicycle in n Attleboro my second one from them. I'll never buy anything from thisshop.
