Had such a great experience with VCA Atwood animal hospital. I have never written a yelp review before but created an account just for this. My dog suffers from seizures and they can be triggered when he is stressed but it is unpredictable when they will happen. I had an appointment scheduled today for an issue with his paw, however two minutes after I walked into the office my dogs seizures were triggered. Immediately the vet and tech were in the waiting room with me, picking up my dog and carrying him back for treatment. They continued to keep a staff member with him for the next two or so hours. They set up a blanket in a room so I could be with my dog but still had someone in there watching over him just incase another seizure occurred. I am so thankful the care my dog received tonight.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. It felt like we found a team of Angels while we were going through a tough diagnosis with our 12 yr old cat. Dr. Megan Salgueiro and her team helped keep our boy comfortable during his last months. They were always caring and so good with him. He was not good with vets in the past, but they worked their magic and were able to give him an exam and shots without sedation. They made a difficult time so much better. They truly care about what they do and it shows. Thank you so much for everything, we are forever grateful.

I had a very positive and wonderful first visit with Dr. Bonilla and my tech Kelly. They were kind and loving with my senior guy Billy and most definitely on the same page as I am with his care. A follow up call on some test results came straight from the doctor in exactly the time that was promised. She was thorough and made me feel as if she had the time for discussion, a very different experience than other practices that I have been with. From the front desk right on through everyone that I encountered I am pleased that I chose VCA Atwood for my cat. Thank you for caring as much as I do!!

I had to leave this post here as a sign of gratitude since that, is one of the least she asked of me. From my calculations, I made $5,200 in 1 week trading.. since Maxima investment started managing my account, I haven't experienced any regrets in continuing binary options trading, though I lost a lot when I started as a newbie. but since I met her I have always been smiling, I feel so much joy each time I log in daily to see my trade records and balance.. She is indeed a good expert, experience this for your self, you will be so glad you did feel free to contact Hendrick Jennifer FX on these email:

It has taken me a year to write this. I figured I would settle down before writing a review. We had a very negative experience at VCA Atwood and I cannot recommend this place. My husband had a guide dog. The first thing we did after relocating to RI was to find a vet and animal hospital that would take care of his needs. He also had pet insurance, so money was not an issue. Rocky was a yellow Lab. Anyone who is familiar with the breed knows they must control their food intake as they will eat anything. We had a prior situation that resulted in him needing emergency surgery to remove an intestinal obstruction that turned out to be a piece of cloth, possibly a sock. So, we were very sensitive to his behavior. Our previous vet was wonderful in that anytime my husband needed his service animal to be seen they would accommodate us even if we had to wait between other appointments. After all, he was so much more than a pet. He was my husband's eyes and enabled him to move through life safely. The VA considers a guide dog a prosthetic. The average cost of breeding, raising, and training a guide dog and training its handler (at the time we got him) was $48,000. Rocky wasn't eating. He was lethargic. We called VCA Atwood asking for him to be seen. I explained when this happened before he required emergency surgery. They refused to give us an appointment stating they were too busy. It would be days before they could get him scheduled. I explained again that our other vet would fit us in as he wasn't just a pet, he was a service animal! I feared that we didn't have days! I persisted and they recommended another specialty clinic. We did call the clinic and they had an answering service that stated they were only taking level three trauma cases. What is a level three trauma case? He wasn't hit by a car. Well, they wouldn't make an appointment either. Rocky passed away. We won't ever know if VCA had examined him, and given him medical intervention, even if he had to be transported to another facility if he would have survived. I feel they should take the "Hospital" out of the name as it is very misleading. We are not new to taking care of animals. We fostered for a no-kill shelter in the past. We have experience working with other vet facilities. We have other pets. We could not in good conscience bring them back to that facility. I have found another place for my fur babies.

They are the most kind and understanding people I have ever met I cannot express my gratitude Enough They helped me through a very hard time in my life and still reached out to me a month later with a wonderful card I cannot say how much they were there for me, it is a wonderful wonderful place to go I recommend it and would give it a 100 stars if I could thank you all.

I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years and even though I’ve moved over 40min away, I won’t switch to a closer vet. Their entire staff is incredible! The lovely ladies who help make the appointments, the vet tech, and the vets - absolutely everyone makes sure both my dogs and I are taken care of. I can’t thank them enough for their amazing care.

Make sure you want to take your animal there, Atwood Animal will take your money as soon as you book an appt. 75.00$ I'm trying desperately to get this off my charge as I have changed my mind. Never give this horrible place your credit card.

hirrible. Dr.Barahl will NOT listen to your concerns and will speak over you .incredibly rude and condescending, all they want is your money! if my friends dog dies because of this disgusting establishment there will be a lawsuit and much much more negative press on facebook. i have also contacted any and all organisations to investigate this dump inside and out!

Dr Barel and her staff were very caring and professional. After several (12) calls to other vets and no appointments available for a small emergency, I was advised by Brittany to come right in. That is a very caring office . I highly recommend them!

This place turned us away on Friday for an emergency euthanasia of our cat. Their response to me was that they had no time. What does that even mean? You took an oath to help animals but don't make time for emergencies? They should be ashamed of themselves. Luckily we did go to the Cranston Animal hospital and they took us in without even hesitating. That is what a vet should be.

The quality of care molly receives every time is phenomenal! We appreciate how they play with her, she is always happy to be there. She shows no fear, ever. We highly recommend VCA Atwood Animal hospital to anyone looking for the best.
