This is one the best stores in the state of Rhode Island. Their manager David is excellent and so is the other staff working at this store. Rico provided me with great customer service. Wishing them the very best always.

I contacted Saltzman's because Luminox watch company told me that they would be able to help me find out the correct size of the back case screws and the back gasket. I was told by Sue Boufford that they couldn't provide that information and I should send my watch in to have it serviced. Years ago I sent my watch to them to have the minute hand fixed. I was quoted a price but they contacted me with more issues that would cost more then the watch was worth. When I received it back two of the tritium tubes were broken . Saltzman watches is a horrible greedy company. I would highly recommend not doing business with them. Don't take my word for it due a little research There are so many horrible stories about this company. You have been warned.

Popped in for a new battery for my watch and they took care of it. It cones with a 3 year warranty! They must be a popular place because I have never seen so many people in a watch store!!!!

The vibe I got during a repair completed by Saltzman’s Watches was they don’t seem very interested in repairing watches like the Luminox Navy Seal I sent them. I base this on a lack of unsolicited updates I received from their staff and a failure to reply to my message to them, with a photo, of the broken band they returned to me. They fixed the watch a little outside of the expected time (around 11 weeks compared to quoted 8 weeks), did a complete repair, but returned it with a broken band. I did not ship it with a broken band.Perhaps Saltzman’s believes this watch is beneath their attention. I buy Luminox Navy Seal watches usually every 4-5 years. I work a lot with my hands, in many conditions, plus I’m a backpacker. These watches hit a sweet spot of durability, varied condition usefulness, and time-keeping accuracy for me for an everyday watch. I usually pay in the $275-$350 range per watch. I have a collection of 6-8 nonworking Luminox watches. As should be clear, I’m a fairly loyal buyer of this brand. I sent my watch to Saltzman’s because Luminox directed me there. Saltzman’s fixed it at a slightly higher price than quoted ($181.98 versus $75). Granted this was based on an unexpected case replacement (charged $67.30 for this) but I didn’t expect the $35 handling charge.I’m someone who tries to reduce my waste footprint by repairing anything I can. I am quite willing to pay extra for appliances and other purchases based on whether I can repair, or have repaired, the purchase. I seek out brands (Sebo vacuum cleaners, the old Baratza grinders, etc.) based on an ethos of “repair rather than landfill”. I was hoping this was the case with my Luminox Navy Seal watches. Saltzman’s doesn’t seem to be the right vendor for this sort of solution.

Went in for a battery for my Timex Ironman in June, very good customer service, friendly, installed the battery while I waited, $20 for a battery for a $40-50 watch? Really? I left with a bad taste in my mouth, while I was waiting I was considering coming back for a new watch purchase, he has a nice selection but that really turned me off.

Excellent customer service and good prices on all kinds of watches. I go there regularly for repair, maintenance, and purchasing. It's a very reputable business.

I send them my 600 series Luminox and couldn't even replace the battery. How are you the only authorized Luminox repair shop if you can't even fix a battery? What a waste of time and money.

Saltzman's is the Luminox brand warranty / repair center for the U.S. market. Sue B. at Saltzman's went above an beyond to help me with a warranty issue on my Luminox (Luminox was very helpful too). I highly recommend this company and Sue for excellent customer service.

Do not use for Mondaine repair! I sent my Mondaine in for repair. It was sent back to me with the stem not fully inserted/working. I contacted them and was told to send it back. I put it in an envelope and forgot to send (that part is on me). When I finally sent it back they wanted to charge me for labor AND for the part they knew was broken/never properly installed. I was willing to pay for the labor since I waited too long, but to charge for a part that was never fixed properly (and they know it because the watch was sealed in a bag and never worn since cleaning) is bad business. They were unresponsive.

Fantastic follow-up service on watch sizing. No additional charge, and quickly in and out! Won’t bother ever going elsewhere.

The staff is kind and care however the service is slow, and just ok. I like the fact that they are a local business and want to support them just which they were a little better at repairing watches

Website says they fix Citizens. They won't fix mine because it's 20 years old and the parts are "probably not available" without even checking so it has to go back to the manufacturer. Then $25 to ship it back after 2-3 weeks unfixed. Wow! What exactly do you do then??? Lazy and poor explanation why they won't fix my watch.

Purchased a new Tissot online and am very happy with my purchase. I had some questions when the item arrived and the store was very responsive with their assistance. I would buy from here again.
