Representatives that answers the phones, would definitely benefit from customer service training. I called with a couple general questions and the rep was very rude. As a potential new customer, this was definitely a deterrent. Consider a career change if you’re that miserable or even a vacation.

I have been a member of Rhode Island Credit Union for more than 30 years and always satisfied. Today was no exception at the Cranston branch. Although they were busy, the staff as always were very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!

Well i was going to open up an account with this Credit union, but after reading these reviews i cant do it. Will be taking my cash out refinance check elsewhere. Companies/Business should really invest in customer service.

Definitely my worst banking experience.. when I first signed up for my account the supervisor was demoralizing the staff just below here and making it uncomfortable to continue to open the account but I was already sitting with the banker but I should have followed my gut.. They don’t have your best interest in mind because I had thousands of dollars in one account and they kept telling me the wrong number that I needed in my checking which led them to keep charging my account without just pulling money from another account or letting me know. But they do call you to see if your enjoying your service lol. Gl here

This place is just awful on so many levels. I used to be a member here and their hours of operation are terrible. They are rude and uncompromising in so many areas. Their online banking practically doesn’t exist. Also today I went in to exchange smaller bills to big ones and they decide to tell me that their services are for “members only”. When I literally was in there yesterday to do the same transaction. Money is money I thought. Won’t be back here ever again not even for shared branching.

Getting help with my auto loan was awesome from customer service. As I was in the lobby Tami was rude to her fellow employees which was horrible and made me felt uncomfortable and did not want to help me at all as she was walking in her office while other customer service had members with them and she did not call me in as I was waiting for awhile. Do not bank with them !

Wife and myself new to Rhode Island area and we heard that this place would assist us, with our laundry business. Had to wait in line to open our business account. Especially when no coffee or something while we wait.Just three staff behind counter playing around with cell phones. Speaking of football instead of dealing with there customers.Much apologies but not very respectful.

Most difficult bank I have ever dealt with. Easy to open accounts and get loans. Horrible to try and pay off loans and close accounts. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I wanted to but a new truck and a little later my Harley. RIFC was soooooAwesome !!!!! They went the extra mile to make me happy. Pretty much a painless experience. They did all the paperwork and when I had a few snags with my third party purchase they stepped in and straightened it all out !!!!Marilyn was awesome as we the rest of the ladies there !!!!Keep up the good work !!!!

I will withdrawing my money from this institution. The woman ( hair in a bun, short and stocky) was quite rude and verbally aggressive. Yelling at me as she was going on breaking. Just for asking questions. So unprofessional. I wouldn’t suggest that bank to a snake. Customer service has diminished severely since that branch has open. Not to mention their mask removal policy to enter. I’ve never heard of putting your customers at risk for contracting Covid-19.

I like the thoroughness, and the attention to detail displayed by the finance team at the Providence branch. They were so helpful in making sure I understood all the important terms. I am giving them an excellent rating. Many thanks to the manager Joann as well as Christian.
