I called ahead to ask if they do money orders and they said yes. I get to the store to find out that the desk isn't open and no one knows how to do them. Why didn't the tell me that when I called? I drove here for a waste of time. They should have said something along the lines that we open at a certain time, and not waste people's time. The store is open, so why isn't customer service? Very unprofessional.

This Stop & Shop is smaller than most but has a great location, always stocked and friendly service.

I had a terrible experience this evening at that store, I am a single mother with three children going through a life-changing situation and I was racially profiled for asking if I can purchase baby formula for my 3-month-old daughter, I was so embarrassed I went to the self checkout purchase the items that I already had in my cart didn't even finish shopping nor get the formula, The young blonde girl asked me if I'm okay because I was in tears and I told her that the petite woman hanging around the service desk was giving me the death stare cuz I wanted to get baby formula and I was denied the service what did she think I was going to do steal it with three kids and run out the door, so the young lady at self checkout felt bad and said that this wasn't the first time this has happened here that that woman is a store manager and does this all the time to people of my community, I don't know what else to do I'm over it I guess I'm never going back there it was too humiliating for me and my family but this was just my experience thank you for listening

This Stop & Shop outlet feels a bit older and smaller on the inside than some newer outlets I've seen here in New England. There are the same departments as at other Stop & Shop stores, whether the produce section, deli counter, bakery, cheese cases, meats, seafood, dairy, and endless aisles of packaged junk, but everything just feels smaller and more cramped. At least prices are typical for a Stop & Shop and, in my experience, ever-so-slightly better than a rival chain that rhymes with "thaws."Note: the insipidly contrived stock images currently dominating this Yelp listing have been uploaded by Stop & Shop Corporate and do not reflect this particular location - a violation of Yelp rules. Since when is a "tight shot of customer picking up a Nature's Promise item off the shelf" - complete with an unsanitary hand and dirty fingernails - supposed to be appetizing? Keep your Yelp photos classy by showing whole departments in a shot or by zooming in on actual product, without body parts contaminating the photos.

I have been shopping here since the store opened. i have always had the loyalty card. Two months ago my access to my points, coupons and ability to redeem gas points was gone. I called customer care several times and they had no idea what the problem was. They told me there was a ticket assigned to my account for tech support. I call every week and get no answers. Now they are ducking me. They are clueless. I am done. Going elsewhere.

Unremarkable store but seemed clean and well lighted.

The past few times I have gone to any of my area Stop and Shops, the produce has looked horrible and they were out of a lot of items. This past Sunday I went to the store on Rte 5 in Warwick. There was not one zucchini and only a couple of shriveled and bruised summer squash. The broccoli was all limp and floppy. I also wanted to get the Panera soup that was on sale but they were out of every kind except tomato, so I didn't get any. Today I went to the store on Rte. 2 in Warwick. Again the produce looked horrible. The zucchini and summer squash were all shriveled and bruised here too. When I went to check out, there was only 1 register open. The cashier was having a conversation with the customer in front of me who I think she knew. This was the only open register. I waited while they discussed contracts and union stuff and Citizen's bank. There was a woman bagging just standing there waiting for something to bag. There were 4 people behind me in line and yet no apology or even attempt to end the conversation. I finally left my groceries on the belt and left. The Rte 5 store also has one entrance closed and at the other entrance they have the parking spots for curbside pickup right near the door so between those and the handicapped spots, regular customers have to park in the back of the lot. Why not put the curbside spots near the closed entrance and let the employees use that entrance to deliver for curbside pickup? Or for all of the stores, why not make the employees who are getting paid walk a little and save the spots closest to the entrances for the customers? I find most of your employees really are not trained in customer service. Most of the time they barely say hello and and often act like the customer is an interruption. I am very much looking forward to the opening of Market Basket in this area and doubt that I will go to Stop and Shop once they open.

This Stop and Shop location really dropped the ball during the pandemic. They did not put limits on anything. IMHO they should have shut down the self service kiosks and enforced buying limits on certain things. People hoard. You could never get what you needed here! It felt really bad like as if they did not care about the community they serve. If you combined this Stop & Shop and the Shaws across the street it still would not equal the value, selection, quality and service that you can get at the South Attleboro Market Basket. People around here do not understand how bad they have it.

Absolutely ridiculous....charge deposit for water bottles and 1 week later wont take the empty back but worst wont honor the deposit. Hold onto the 5 gallon bottles as we will eventually take them back. Mgr told me o dont have to bring them back each time but I could call first. Why in the HELL are they selling them. SHAWS is smart as sells recyclable bottles that you aren't charged $6 and you simply put it in your recycable bin!

I honestly hope that my friend takes what happened this evening at your location to the press. The fact that you had 2 of your employees speak the way they did to her and only one got suspended? One of them told her "you shouldn't of had 6 kids" and the other at the !?!Service Desk?!?! told her; "why don't you lick a toilet seat you cow." I don't know what kind of management you've got going on over there but your two employees should be fired immediately. And so should you as a "manager" for allowing this to happen right in front of your face without doing a single thing. She had to call district to have anyone look into it. I hope this makes the news. This is getting shared all over Facebook too btw. Nice job

Prepare to bag your own groceries as union workers walk around doing nothing. If you do choose to go to a cashier, prepare for them to complain the entire time like they are the only people who have to work. Because of this location I will only shop at Dave's or Shaw's from now on. Next time these workers go on strike, I'll consider shopping at this location again.
