I recently moved to the area and switched to this vet. Scheduling my 2.5yr old cat for his annual as a new patient was an easy process on the phone. They were booking out nearly 2 months later but when it came time for the actual visit, they were super accommodating and already prepared to deal with my cats severe anxiety during visits because they took care to pay attention to the notes I’d given them and they got his records from his previous vet!The visit was short but thorough! Very happy to have my cat going here.

Had to make an appointment to get my Maxwell shots and neutered . Been using them for many years took care of my last cat Samantha who was in my home with us for 21 years they were very competent and professional at the time we had to put her down for humane purposes very sad day but later received a card and a paw print of her for a memorable gesture . I highly recommend this vet ?

This vet is great, the women that work there are so pleasant and nice, my dog doesn't mind that much to go cause he gets treats!!!!

Please, please, do NOT bring your pet here. They are the absolutely worst animal hospital I have ever dealt with. The staff is rude (actually called me a liar) and started bad mouthing me (they didn't realize the phone was not already hung up. I am shaking as I write this. I needed a few pills (4) for my 12 year old dog to get me to my next appointment with them and they absolutely refused. I was only 2 months past her annual exam! I can't believe they are letting my dog go off her meds cold turkey! That is not the kind of office you want taking care of your precious pets.

My cat, Rocky, had an appt at Oaklawn Animal Hospital. They are efficient, gentle, kind. Took care of my boy even though he was hissing and hated every minute, lol.

All this place cares about is what’s in your pockets. Took my puppy in for what I thought was going to be an exam but he didn’t need it because he was seen the week before. Not a problem. The techs brought him in the back for his vaccines and then I was charged $146 for two vaccines. They charged me for $76 for an exam that wasn’t performed. Refunded me only $66. So I called and asked about it and was hung up on. So when I showed up for my $10, the girl at the front questioned me and insisted my puppy was seen by a doctor. It took someone else to tell her she was wrong to get my money. Stay away from this place unless you want to be ripped off.

This is the best animal hospital in R.I., in my opinion. I can go elsewhere, but they provide the best, and most thorough examinations and analyses for your pet''s problems. I think they may even see turtles, birds, like cockatiels, parrots, and rabbits.Dr. Kliebanoff and all of the other veterinarians, and dedicated staff, are the most committed team, that I have ever experienced. They are the most extremely knowledgeable veterinarians and the staff are efficient and most caring. If your looking for the most thorough care for your pet, give Oaklawn Animal Hospital a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised and pleased with the care they provide. Good Job Oaklawn Animal Hospital, keep up your great work and dedication!
