“Always an adventure in this world class establishment. The variety of guests will always be the best part of your stay. Some are risqué and only wish there was a bar to link up with some of them!!!”

“What a great hotel! Stayed here with my husband and two toddlers for a winter weekend getaway - we had plans to see the Providence Bruins and to get dinner on Federal Hill and wanted a hotel with an indoor pool - we found this gem 12 minutes east of Providence and had such a wonderful stay! Very clean and updated. The staff was great! Rose’s breakfast was outstanding! The pool was so warm and clean. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and a pull out couch. The boys slept comfortably on the sofa bed which was actually pretty comfortable! The king size bed was super comfortable. The hotel was very quiet - we will be back! We had no idea there was a giant arcade behind the hotel, so now we’re planning our next trip back!Rooms: Very clean and updated.Food & drinks: Rose put a lot of work into cooking a delicious breakfast and took great pride in everyone enjoying it. She brought over coloring pages and crayons for the kids. So yummy!”

Service was outstanding. We were greeted by everyone with a smile. Room was super nice and super clean. Had drinks at the restaurant at nightThe bartenders were so nice to us. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back before another 20 years passes. Thank you to the hotel and staff for a great stay.”

“Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Steve and Shaq are very kind, helpful, and professional. Staff gets 5 stars. Excellent breakfast. The pool is very clean snd refreshing. It was quiet and location was fantastic. You can’t do better for the price I honestly thought it was nicer than some of the Hilton Hotels. I highly recommend this location for anyone traveling through the area.

Noteworthy details: Staff was excellent! Pool is great! Great continental breakfast!”

“I’ve stayed at The Graduate a few times now, and I always have a great experience! The rooms are spacious and clean, especially the suites, and I love the decor. The lobby is stunning. They’ve blended classic and modern, and I love all of the nods to Providence’s history. Plus, the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel is walkable to many downtown restaurants, bars, and activities, including the Providence Place Mall, the AMP, and Federal Hill. It’s really the perfect location! The on-site bar is also great. I always look forward to weekend getaways here! There isn’t much information about parking online, and I like knowing this ahead of time, so this is how it works (as of 3/28/24):There is a parking garage behind the hotel called the Biltmore Garage. When arriving at the hotel, drive into the garage and either insert your credit card or take a ticket to enter. When checking in, you’ll receive a pass that will allow you to enter and exit the garage for the duration of your stay. The parking will be billed to the room. At the time of my trip, it was $33/night for parking. The parking garage is very close to the hotel. It looks like there is a walking bridge but it was closed when we were there. Overall, for parking in a city, it is not a bad setup.”

“Decent hotel if you're just looking to spend a night. Conveniently located around a variety of retail establishments and restaurants. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel. Room was quite comfortable and spacious.”

“It’s a cute boutique hotel in prime downtown Providence. The rooms are small but well equipped with amenities (dryer, steam iron). They don’t have a refrigerator in rooms though. There’s a speakeasy inside the hotel and another bar called Boombox in there. They also have a tiny coffee shop with treats for you to stop on your way out.
My favorite part of my stay was the staff. James was super helpful in giving me advice for the city/parking. He even kindly brought up my food all the way to my room after delivery.
Highly recommend if you want to be in downtown and don’t have a large family.”

“My spouse and I were in town for a few nights for our son's graduation from Bryant University. The front desk and management could not have been nicer and more accommodating - from the very first time I contacted them in October 2022 to make the reservation. I spoke with them through the year to check on the reservation and they were so very nice. Once we arrived, they were very helpful. Everything has been excellent, and we really appreciated our stay!Rooms: We had a king-sized bed and the room was quite large. Everything was very nice.Nearby activities: Close to Bryant University, and close to restaurants.”

“It's a decent motel for the price. The only reason the location is 3 stars is 1. it's located in Woonsocket, 2. It's right next door to the Woonsocket police station. 3. It's literally way back in the back of the parking lot and is not very easy to see from the road.

Rooms: They are basic rooms with either 1 or two beds, for the price it is decent!!!

Nearby activities: You have the library next door, the theatre one street over, WW2 memorial 1 street over. There are a few other places close by.

Safety: Woonsocket police is right next door.

Walkability: It's close to all of downtown.

Food & drinks: There's a bunch of food places close by, koto steak house, King wok, Burger King, subway, all of shops on main Street!!! Lots and lots of choices.”

“I've been here for 3 1/2 weeks. My room is on the 7th floor with a view of the capitol -- lovely. I really love my room. A king-size bed and a cozy couch with a great reading light behind it. The location could not be better for walking the city. Perfect. They charge $30/day for parking, but so do all the other hotels downtown. Service is good! Super helpful staff. Everyone! One night I called the front desk around 11 pm asking about a new plastic liner for my bathroom garbage can. The desk clerk walked it up to my room 5 minutes later. (!!!) The free breakfast at their restaurant is better than the breakfast bar at a Hilton (see photo of today's breakfast). But there are a ton of awesome restaurants within walking distance. Have fun!!! In winter, there's a small park with a skating rink across the street. I've been really happy here. I hope you will be, too! Only drawback: a tiny fridge and no microwave in your room. Tip: you can ask the restaurant to store your salad or whatever in their walk-in.”

“Nice clean room. King bed with sofa trundle bed and a desk and mini fridge and microwave. Online it says it was last renovated in 2013? But today in May 2024 in person it looks like it was more like five years ago. So if 2013 is accurate then it appears to have been maintained very well. So far experienced good customer service from front desk and breakfast staff. I think those are at least two of the main things that make the biggest difference at hotel stays - clean comfortable room and nice professional staff. Location is also good. This was a good stay not too far from Providence during Memorial weekend and Brown University commencement. But all the prices around this time are crazy.”

“When I arrived at the Motel 6 in Warwick RI, the disc clerk seemed to be having trouble pulling up my reservation. The clerk consulted with the manager and they told me that my reservation was no longer valid. They said my card was declined [it wasn't]. My card was verified when I made the reservation on the day before the day of my stay.
Luckily, I arrived early (4:00 pm) and they were able to find another room for me, but I had to take a smoking room. I paid with the same card that I had made the reservation with and the transaction was approved, no problem.

Finally, I will say that my room was fine. No complaints there. Even though it was a smoking room, there was very little odor of smoke residue. My only complaint with the building is that the locks are broken on some of the entry doors, so anyone could just walk in without going by the front desk.”

“Outstanding service consistently, every stay! This definitely is a go to lodging option if you need a convenient location paired with excellent service. Max at the front desk will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are taken care of and Maurice with his team will ensure your room is always in great shape. GM Shawn and AGM Jeff are doing a great job at this property. Well done!”

“I used it for parking, I called when I got my bag at baggage claim and they were there within 10 minutes And drove us right to the back of the parking lot where our cars were parked, definitely recommend”

“The room itself was kinda dirty, with random stains on almost everything.
The bed was comfortable and clean. I guess that's what you're ultimately paying for, a locked room and a place to sleep. That's about it. The staff doesn't even let you INTO the lobby, all business is through a tiny window.
Very close to great places to eat: Shannon's Place and Tacontiento.”

“THIS REVIEW ONLY PERTAINS TO THE RESTAURANT INSIDE THIS HOTEL, BENJAMINS II!

First of all, the restaurant has NO signage on where it is located. We circled around the parking lot twice and even wound up in some used car lot. I ended up taking a chance and walking in through the main entrance of the Hotel and low and behold there it was. Thankfully, you don't need a reservation or to be a guest of the hotel to eat here.

The serving staff was terrible with the exception of the woman who served us, Janice (thank you). We asked the gentleman who sat us what was good to eat here and he scoffed saying he doesn't eat here. Even if he lied to us, it would have been a better response than the one given. Honestly, the restaurant was dead, just about fifteen people in the place and the service was VERY SLOW. Almost to a point where we thought we were forgotten.

The food is what SAVED the place in my opinion. I got the veal Parmesan and it's REAL veal so it's delicious. I had it with Penne pasta, the marinara was paired well with the dish. My party had wine (Pinot Grigio 750ml) which the bartender had not left any in the freezer, so they brought us out a 1.5L of the wine and even bagged it for us to take home.

Honestly the whole experience started out rocky (putting it lightly) but overall I believe we had a great evening out. Janice was the superstar employee that saved this restaurant from getting a terrible review. (Well her and the delicious food)

Food & drinks: The food at BENJAMINS II is beyond reproach.”
