Glass making companies are a part of a larger industry for the purpose of home repair and construction. As the number of qualified tradespeople declines, and general home repair skills are lost, there can be little patience for an unfamiliar person to be treated as if they know what they are doing. However, General Glass knows what they are doing, and they first start with excellent customer service.
I called to inquire whether or not their company can cut and make a certain size of glass. The discussion I had with the employee on the phone was direct and decisive. While another company assumed I needed a contractor to cut, install, and secure the glass panes I wanted, General Glass was patient and asked me the necessary questions for what I needed to get done.
So, I made the necessary measurements, called them up a second time, and was told it should be ready in 1 to 2 days. A day later, I was able to pick up the glass panes, and be on my way to the next step in my project.
General Glass was professional, quick, and respectful. I recommend them for any glass needs. You can clearly see their quality work.

I had a broken mirrored draw that needed to be fixed. They had the original glass and the new glass doesn’t match the other draws. The mirror that was put on has black in it and looks dirty. Where others have noticed it. Very disappointed.

These people are really knowledgeable about all commercial size window repair issues in addition to all other things they do. They have showed up on time and repaired everything quickly. The parts only took about a week to come in and all the people involved in the process from the owner to the installation people were amazing to deal with. Everying was priced very reasonably, so we will use them again for sure.

Hands down some of the BEST customer service around! As the manager of a local service company, I deal with a lot of different vendors, but Ben over at Custom Glass really set this company apart from the rest. He was knowledgeable, extremely helpful in offering solutions and advice, followed up with me every step of the way and delivered nothing less than top notch professionalism. I was dealing with Joe on a project.He went to look at a job to fix a broken seal on a skylight on a house I was selling.They told me it was just old tint film that was peaking off and if I removed it they would give me documentation to provide to the buyers that the seal was not broken (I was paying them for their time). I told him a week in advance that I had a closing date and needed the documentation before the closing or I was at risk of losing the buyers.The day before the closing I called the office twice and they told me Joe was on vacation. I stressed to them that Joe promised to get me documentation and I only had a day left. About 1 o’clock I get a call from a number I didn’t recognize- guess who it was.... JOE - screaming at me that I have called his office 9 times! He told me I was harassing his employees. I tried to explain I had only called twice but he told me to F-OFF, literally!I strongly support small businesses, being one myself, especially through these hard times BUT this is one business that does not deserve to be supported.Bring you business elsewhere!

I’m a local doc caring for patients with COVID-19. Joe and his team at GGS made some acrylic boxes for my hospital’s ER for use during procedures to act as a shield between patients and staff. They were ready in only a few days and are a big step in helping to protect the health and safety of our front-line healthcare workers. Thank you again Joe!
