This Family Dollar has really stepped up their game with staff and layout. The isles are more organized than ever before. The clearance section is always booming with some good deals. They have been closed within the past year for a couple of days because of short staff which I can see where the reviews are spawning from. I'm a frequent customer here, 2-3 times per week. It isn't the best Family Dollar but it's a working progress to become one.

PLACE IS A DUMP ! ...had a easy return over a candy item that was bad , JENNIFER refused saying they only take back family dollar items ...other then that ..NO REFUNDS ! ...have pictures and receipt to prove ! ...STAY AWAY !

I am an Employee of Family Dollar and was at this store to help before inventory. Well lit, very organized and the manager Xavier is super friendly and has his stuff together. The store very easy to navigate.

This location seems understaffed. They always seem like they're in the middle of stocking the shelves no matter what day and time you go in. There is always boxes in the middle of the aisles and some aisles you can't even go down due to things in the way. Shelves are never neat or fully stocked. ???? I feel bad because the employees are nice for the most part, but store is just always a mess and I walk out many times not getting what I need because it's not on the shelves.

I'm changing my review from one star to three. The store manager before (not sure if she's still there) was constantly late (by like an hour to open the store) and extremely rude. The comments she's made to me are immature and intentional. I have not seen her there recently and customer service has gotten sooo much better. The girl auth the shaved sides of her hair is very sweet and thorough. Nevermind the fact that these people are in the front lines of this virus. A new appreciation for retail jobs. Idk how I'd feed my cats! Much improvement and less messy in there as well. Keep it up!

Never go to the one one Pontiac ave cranston. I waited 5 minutes for the blonde cold cashier stocking the gum 2 feet away from me instead of cashing me out.
