On Sunday I was in this store making a return from another store and the person who works there treated me super badly, discriminated against me because of my language and refused to exchange the products because I had to go to the store where I bought them where I reiterated that the exchange policies can be in any store within the established time and she reiterated that she would not exchange them and in return she said she was going to call the police. I asked her to call a supervisor and she denied it and on top of that she covered her name. It is a shame that in this century discrimination continues.

I've been a customer there for many years, And one day I went in to get a few things, I had no basket. stuff was falling out of my arms, there absolutely no one in line so I went straight for the counter and put my purchases on there, and the miserable girl, young enough to be my grand daughter, instead of greeting me she decided to power trip me and treat me like a 10 year old and told me I had to go around,there was NO ONE in line and I even asked a lady shopping if she wanted to go first and she said "No I'm not in line" long story short, the ignorant RACIST cashier refused to cash me out and yelled at another (just as bad employee) to cash me out and after she told me " Don't come back here" (Real professional) so if you are a white hard working American, don't shop there, I won't anymore, and I'll never refer anyone ever. Mind you I own a business up the street for 25+ years, and I NEVER seen anything like this in my life!! Talk about disrespect!

Bought a glue gun and it lasted about 3 minutes and won't work. But other craft stuff there. Though limited selection, is great. That's what I went for.

Love Family Dollar! They have a great selection of items at very reasonable prices, lower than most all stores including Walmart. Good selection of canned goods and dry goods like mac and cheese, soups, crackers, chips and much more. Also a large selection of frozen foods. Also have value priced clothing including socks and underwear. The Atwood ave store in Cranston gets it delivery on Monday afternoon so Tuesday morning they are full of product. They arent too big which is what i like almost the best. Try it, youll be glad you did!

Good clean store. Well staffed. Today a one arm man was being rude and verbally abusive to the staff and the staff handled it well.
