The best service I have every had. I was in a bind and needed a suit in less than 2 weeks after a competitive store completely messed up a custom suit order. I went in to Canterbury’s and explained my situation. After a phone call they assured me they would have a suit ready in time . Today I picked up the best fitting suit I have ever owned . The went above and beyond to get a suit for me . They have earned a customer for life . Store was nice and people working there were nice. I went in looking for cufflinks. I wasn't necessarily looking for sterling silver, but when I picked some cufflinks out I was told they were sterling silver. When I got home I checked them with a magnet. "Sterling" silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Neither silver nor copper are magnetic. The cufflinks stuck to the magnet immediately. I'm not saying they lied to me, but one way or another I was told something that wasn't true, which I don't appreciate. I'm not going to return them because like I said I just wanted some nice cufflinks, and regardless of whether they're steel or silver I like them. I just don't like being given false information. That said, it could have just been a mistake but he seemed pretty sure of himself.

I bought a sport coat from a different store that needed to be altered. I found Canterbury's on-line and after reading other reviews I decided to go to them to ask for an idea of how much it would cost to alter. I needed the jacket for that night, but was not expecting to be able to get the job done that day. I was just going to wear it as is and bring it back later. I just wanted to know how much I would have to pay. Turned out that they were able to get it done that afternoon (I was there at about noon time) so that I COULD have it for that night. The price was very reasonable ($50 to shorten sleeves and take in the body). Job was very well done, and again, very reasonably priced. Very pleasant to deal with as well. Highly recommend Canterbury's Fine Men's Clothing.
