Decided to take a drive with my wife from Mystic to check these guys out. What a fabulous shop and a wonderful staff. I knew once we walked in the door that my wife would gleefully walk out with the purchase of a new machine. Not only are their prices terrific, you get professional service, on the spot training of how to use the machine and you are welcome to return any time for more instructions ask questions and more.

Amazing. All I can say is amazingIve been wanting a straight stitch machine and I am now the proud owner of a baby lock accomplish 2. I went in looking at a juki they let me see and use the different machines to compare them in what I wanted. I'm so happy with this machine.. thank you all for your patience .

Recently purchased a 10 needle Brother and we couldn't speak more highly of Heather and the entire staff here @ Blaine's. A++++ Incredibly informative, competitive pricing and a massive inventory which you can test hands on. You can pay for private embroidery lessons if need be and their overall follow through is second to none. HIGHLY recommend this well run establishment.

This is such a great shop. After only a couple of visits, they know my name and are very helpful. I appreciate excellent service and most important, knowledge of their products. I had to ask them for an old record for an insurance claim and they were on it and within minutes they pulled up an invoice for me. Everyone was so helpful. My first Bernina was purchased 20 years ago from a great shop in Pennsylvania and I thought I would be hard pressed to find another shop like that again as I would only do my business with them. Well Blaine’s has met the bar. Doing business the old fashioned way with “the customer comes first” attitude.

Seemed like a friendly place for sewing needs. Purchased my first machine and staff was helpful. The issue occurred when they wouldn’t honor my free 1 year cleaning because I was slightly outside the window. There was an extenuating health issue (cancer) that prevented me from dropping my machine off by the anniversary date. I was 8 or 9 weeks past the date and I explained how my focus was on cancer survival, rather than getting my machine cleaned. Seems reasonable, doesn’t it? The manager/owner did not care, stating she stands by the policy because she treats customers equally and it wouldn’t be fair. I recommend you support a business that values patrons as people, rather than just customers. If you decide to purchase a machine here, be sure that cancer doesn’t disrupt your life around the anniversary date or you’ll miss out on your free cleaning.

This place is awesome, I decided to take a short road trip to Blaine's from Cape Cod to shop for a new sewing machine. Dealers are few and far between these days and I wanted to view all my options and actually use the machine before committing. They have tons and tons of machines all brands and types new and used ,priced low to super expensive. Customer service was excellent, Heather assisted me and she knows her stuff and was able to guide me to the machine with the features I wanted with NO pressure to buy. I did end up leaving with the machine of my dreams-plus they give you a class on basics and offer assistance whenever you need it and a free one year service. Call for a appointment if you are going to make a drive they are busy which is a testament to the service and quality they offer

Very knowledgeable and listened to my sewing style. Representative was helpful in weighing product options of the machines I was interested in. I will be back and recommend Blaine's Sewing center. If you want a reliable, well made sewing, embroidery or serger go talk to them. I will make time to visit them with my next sewing tools or accessories. Let's just say in the past, fabric or all craft supply stores selling sewing machines make sense, for one stop shopping. After all, wouldn't expect a grocery store to sell stoves or a refrigerator.
