Please do not go into this location. Please read my experience below:I recently decided to make an upgrade to an iPhone 15 at this location. I told the manager, Emmanuel, I noticed I was eligible for a iPhone 15 upgrade and wanted to do so. Emmanuel checked my account and stated, “my trade in value was roughly around $300-350 in value.” I told Emmanuel my AT&T account indicated I can trade in my phone as is for the new iPhone 15 for zero money down. Emmanuel said if I cancel my existing line and open a new line my trade in value for my iPhone 11 would be around $800 which would cover the cost of the new iPhone 15. It seemed odd that I would have lose my phone number that I had for several years in order to make this happen. I asked Emmanuel for clarification and he stated, “ this is the only way I can make this work.” I was reluctant to complete this transaction but I thought since he is a manager he has to be giving me the correct information. Therefore, against my better judgment I went through with canceling my old line and opening a new line. Ultimately I felt a little uneasy about my whole experience. Once my first bill came in I was shocked to see it went up to $205. I reviewed the statement and noticed I was charged for activating a new line which that was not disclosed during my store visit. I also noticed I was paying for insurance which I was never asked to sign up for. I immediately went to the location I purchase the phone to get clarification since I was paying $70-$75 a month regularly. I spoke to Emmanuel once again and he dug into my account. Emmanuel ensure me this was pro-rated bill and not to worry on my next bill it will adjust. I told Emmanuel I noticed on my bill I had insurance on my iPhone 15 which I was never asked to sign up for. Emmanuel was able to give me a credit for the next bill and told me if my next statement comes in high please come back so we can sort this out. I left the store once again feeling uneasy.I then called AT&T customer service on 11/9 right after my store visit and spoke to a representative to verify if the information that was given to me by Emmanuel during my initial transaction. I explained my situation and the rep advised me at AT&T existing customers and new customers are eligible for the same promotion. Therefore, I could have traded in my iPhone for the new iPhone 15 for zero down without closing my line. What I learned is the Emmanuel broke churn so he could benefit financially and why he told me to add a line. I asked the rep to breakdown my bill so I can understand why it was so high. The rep told me I had add on’s which was an insurance feature and next up feature. I asked what was next up because I didn’t sign up for that just like I didn’t sign up for the insurance. The rep explained what it was and then removed it from my account. Instantly after I ended my call I felt swindled and taken advantage of by Emmanuel. Emmanuel manipulated the situation to gain commission at the expense of my transaction.Just when I thought this was behind me I received a new bill that increased by $23 dollars. When I called customer service they advised me since I canceled a line within the first 90 days of the promotion I will now have to pay installments for the new iPhone. I told the rep I was told to close a line and add new line to receive a free iPhone essentially. During that process I was charged for features without my authorization and now I am being penalized for policies I was never informed of as a result of AT&T employee's lack of integrity. This whole experience was awful but what is more concerning is how many other customers has Emmanuel done this to. I strongly suggest you do not go to 540a reservoir avenue Cranston, RI 02910.

These people are crooks and prey on the elderly. We went on last week to see about changing from another service provider.. we were told that if we switched we would all get all new iPhones for free and our bill would be 30-35 a month per line… with all fees. We were skeptical butMy 80 yr old father was assured we would pay less than the other provider for all 5 lines- no activation fees, no hidden fees as long as we signed on for the deal that day. He was only approved to give us the deal on October 17 by 8:00. Then we were zapped with 328 taxes… which was explained as RI tax.. so we paid it. The bill just came in at $428 with all add ons we did not approve.Do not go to this location! It is very corrupt. I have filed a complaint with the company, and contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as the local news. These people need to be stopped.Update:I did email the person who responded “owner” and received no response. We also went back in the store and the salesperson looked over the bill and said he did not put the charges or updates in… he put the order in as requested… so somebody at the company changed it to make more money. Atrocious!He also said it would be fixed by Monday.It is Tuesday and it is not fixed!

Great customer service from Slater and the other gentleman working at this store. Came in got me a great promotion on my trade in, activated my new phone, and got all my stuff moved. I’m really happy with how everything went.

Anthony Brunetti Was GREAT. I had T-Mobile for 7 years and went in to get a quote just for the heck for it. Anthony Built me a quote and showed me I was over paying at T-Mobile this whole time. He seemed very knowledgeable so I trusted his word and sure enough I got my first bill and his quote was almost the EXACT amount he quoted me at. I went back in the month after to give him my business because I wanted AirPods. He offered me to put it on installments and now I only pay $20 a month for them for a year! I didn’t even know you could do that! As long as Anthony is at this store, this is where I will go for future phone inquiries from now on. - Mike

Manny was amazing went above and beyond. His staff was amazing. Manny came out and helped me set up my direct TV stream and new wifi service. Customer for life!

BEWARE - scam scam scam. The employees AND store manager promised us a $10 phone plan added to our family plan if we transferred a line from T Mobile. Customer Service representative claims there is no such line and can’t honor it on our bill. I confirmed the deal at the store several times before leaving and they lied over and over again. This store would do ANYTHING for a sale, even if it means lying to customers. Getting the Better Business Bureau involved.

I will never come back to this store the manager is rude and the co workers don’t explained anything I had to cancel the service and activated new service at another location, at the other place it was a whole different story better experience.

They charge too much try and stick you in a contract my brother's paying $56 a month for one line I'm paying 143 for three lines with an iPhone 13 and two Galaxy a32s for the bubble you figure it out all 5G no buffering unlimited talk text messaging and no contract T-Mobile and to be honest with you I had Metro which is owned by T-Mobile $30 a month unlimited talk text messaging never had a problem the only reason I switched because I wanted to get my daughter the iPhone 13 that's the only reason

I came in on 10/27 with a seemingly broken phone and little clue what to do with it. Miguel greeted me and assessed my situation with excellent customer service. After discussing potential options with equally impressive co-worker, Manny, they gave me several options for how to proceed. Manny sat me down and ran me through the different packages, price points and ways I could get the most value out of my situation. In the past, I felt seriously swindled when dealing with ATNT. I ended up walking out with new AirPods, an iPhone 14 in the mail, and a wallet that was not sad. These stand up fellas made me a happy customer! Additionally, it’s important to note that I did not get this special treatment because I came when the store was dead. I watched both Manny and Miguel serve 5~ customers while helping me, switching between Spanish and English the entire time. Give my dudes a bonus!

My store representative, Marilyn, was amazing. Not only did she assist me with the reason I was there, but she also helped improve my plan so that I could save a little bit of money. Excellent customer service!
