Westwood is i swear the best place ever. I started going in 2020 for the summer camp program, and every single day i would come home, and wish i was back there. All of the councilors were the nicest people ever and all of the kids, teens, and CIT’s are so cool. After the summer ends, i’m extremely sad, because my summer couldn’t have been so great without it. Our councilor’s would bring us on trails, to the upper field, art, the basketball court, kona ice would come once a week, we had free swim & swim lessons (for people going into 6th grade or younger) and all other sorts of fun activities. If you are considering sending your child to this camp i highly recommend it. it’s a great environment, full of so many kind people & just a lot of fun in general .

Great place if you are looking for a peaceful setting, without a bunch of planned activities. Once school is out, day camp begins and we enjoy listening to the kids laughing and enjoying their days. There is a nice beach and lake for swimming, also a playground for the kids. Nothing fancy here, and that is why we like it! Some sites are 20 amp, some have 30 amp. Water at each site. Inexpensive weekly pump out service or dump on your way out. Also rustic cabins for rent. Keep in mind this is a campground, not a fancy RV resort. Great place to spend a few nights or a season!2021 Update: The Board of Directors has decided to close the campground part of Camp Westwood after this season.

Beautiful beach area, excellent lifeguards. Not all Deluxe cabins have grills over the fire pit area. Easy check in and check out. Floors in the cabins were swept when we arrived, but one had broken furniture. When we were there, nice and quiet. Many seasonal spots with campers utilizing golf carts. Bathrooms were in good condition generally. Some of the smaller cabins on the waterfront need a facelift and refreshed paint. Grounds kept up well, no trash about. Fishing dock is separate from beach area. Kayaks available to rent, you cannot bring your own inflatable though. Overall, a great experience. Definitely take an upgraded cabin if you are considering a cabin rental. Also, bring a wagon to transport your stuff as not all sites have parking right at the site.

The leadership and staff at Camp Westwood care about your experience with them. I have witnessed this first hand, not as a customer, but as a contractor working on the property. While I worked on site, the campgrounds, waterfront and recreation areas were well kept and the staff were pleasant and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was my pleasure working with Mike and his team. I look forward to taking my family camping there in the spring, the beginning of a family tradition.

Great summer camp program, kids are tired everyday and are sad when it ends in august. Much of the staff are there year after year. It's also one of the more reasonably priced camps in the area. Most groups have 2 45 minute lake sessions each day where they learn swimming fundamentals until they are ready to pass the various swim tests.

Great place to take your kids. There's also a trail right next to this place that's great for off road bike riding and R/C trucks which I've taken there myself several times. Great jumps too!
