If you want great customer service, a good product at slightly higher prices go to Dave's, AND they supply bags. If you want slightly lower prices, good customer service, with a GREAT self checkout system, go to Walmart, AND they have bags. If you want to have to bring your OWN bags, a self checkout system that constantly requires an associate to be called, with slightly higher prices, go to Stop and Shop. This is no reflection on the people who work there.

Too few checkers at registers. Poor help at DIY registers. Lady in front of me (on oxygen) needed help with every item. Had to keep calling "helper" back!

You go there there's one manned register open; you have to go to self checkout with a full carriage of groceries......the belt is about 3 ft long it won't hold your groceries so then your trying to pile them all on there so you can bag as you go.......but the machine keeps messing up telling you to put your item back on the bagging area......so you keep having to wait for an associate to come unlock the thing.....and they tell you it has to be set sensitive because people are stealing.....but if you just had people on regular registers they couldn't steal as much because you'd have to check out with a human......I go to Dave's it's a little more pricey but they have humans working not robots

It is near impossible to find what you want here unless it's something very simple. And then when you find it you find that it is on sale but only if you have a card. I don't need another card I don't want another card and I don't need a card that connects to my personal information. Won't be back.

Its a gas station, do I need to say more? The only difference with stop and shop gas is you get money off your gas depending on how many points you earn while shopping at S \\u0026 S, I have gotten $1.30 off gas prices with my card , thats a huge savings in gas, especially with the prices rising... but its just a gas station booth and they sell gum and candy , its not a full service gas station but I've never had any issues here, staff are all kind too.

Friday Dec. 4, 2020 there were lines 1/2 way to the back of Store, self serve backed up also. I went to service desk and Kae told me it would be a few minutes and continued to count lottery tickets on the wall and something behind the counter. After three people were in line for help and many minutes later, a second person entered the desk area. Where is the Service in being told it would be a bit for service? Kae proceeded to chat with second person but only said to me it would be a few moments!!! Not at any stretch of the imagination was it Customer Service, to be put off while she did other things! Poor, service overall! Actually it was no Service!

Not only is the entire store run by imbeciles but the prepared foods dept is the WORST things are always out of date and the ONLY guy I ever see in there has the worst customer service and does the absolute bare minimum at ALL times. He needs to GO
