Bought a 25 dollar cumberland farms gas card for a birthday gift using cash.. paid, recieved the card and the activation slip and left the station.While home I noticed the activation number and card given did not match numbers... and wouldn't you know... no money on the card.My thoughts, clerk keeps another card under register... takes money uses the second card to activate and hands your unactivated one back.Put cameras on these clerks and if your buying one always check the activation with the card itself... reading other reviews on here about discrepancies with money orders makes me really suspect a big time thief working for your company.If anyone wants to reach out to me in a managment position I'd like my 25 dollars back and I can speak as to the date and time of the transaction... just leave your name below and I'll be happy to stop by.

One employee this morning again, really rude, third times a charm. Been using these stores for past 5 years. Won't ever spend another dollar there again. There are some really nice employees but the rude ones definitely ruin it.

Need a money order? Have them count the money in front of you!I've gotten money orders many times from Cumberland farms. I went in today, and gave them money for a few money orders. The clerk put it under the register and a bill counter counted it and automatically deposited the money in the safe.I wanted to have it recounted because I counted a different number than they came back with. I was told nobody had access to the money, and the money was put in the safe. I've never had this issue, there was not even a chance to recount at all. There was a $200 difference between what I counted and what the machine said it counted. This warrants a recount. Well nobody had the ability to recount this, so there is nothing I can do. Now there is no recourse and no way to check for a recount. I counted the money right in front of her before giving it to her for the money orders. I'm very unhappy about this and I've never had this issue. I get money orders frequently from Cumberland farms and other retailers, this is the first time that money has not been hand counted first, then out into a counter to verify. Something seemed off here and I don't think I'll be getting any more money orders. Buyer beware.

I love this store!! I mean, it's pretty much just like any other relatively new Cumbys, nothing extraordinaire. The thing that sets it apart from the rest, is it's employees!! Most of the people that work here are extremely personable and friendly. They radiate cheer and you feel the love the second you walk through the door. You always walk out the door with a smile on your face. Unlike how you feel after leaving your favorite coffee shop and dealing with that bitter, rude, snappy teenager after paying $10 for a cup of coffee. However, I do have one tiny complaint which happens to be a BIG thing for me. You can NEVER load money onto ANY of your credit/debit cards!! This is a huge issue for some people like myself who mostly live off of these types of cards. It particularly screwed me tonight because I have court in the morning, car trouble, and no money on my card to order an Uber. My Chime app told me this place specifically loads money to my card. They however, had a different story. I get home and double check and sure enough, they SHOULD be able to do it. I've been told by a handful of employees with a few different types of cards that they can't do it. I was also told that it goes against their contract (deff not). So I don't know if it's improper training of the employees, or if they don't have the necessary tools, or if the system isn't properly updated. All I do know is, it is a HUGE inconvenience and is something that should probably be fixed like asap!! Not looking forward to missing court tomorrow I'm disappointed in you Cumbys. ps air machine is NEVER working

First my card that never gets declined is declined a few days ago with plenty of money on it, the worker says that always happens then me being stupid thinking nothing of it, I decide to go back for gas and the pump decided it twice! That's my fault for thinking these morons could do something right but no worries I'll run out of gas before I ever go to Cumberland idiot farms! My cards don't get declined! Well for them being stupid I'm going to get corona and cough and sneeze on everything and all the gas pumps have fun dummies
