I’m home builder Who recently moved here And I have been testing out the local Lumberyards by just getting small things that I need to work on my own home. Today I went in for one sheet of drywall. There was one person working inside, and I had to stand there and wait to be helped. As I was waiting, a woman came out of the office and didn’t acknowledge my existence. After waiting I Then I went to pick up my drywall from the yard The entire stack was damaged. The yard attendant didn’t seem to know where there was anymore. So I waited. He suggested giving me another type of Dry Wall But couldn’t make the decision himself he had to call Jim. So I waited. Jim responded by saying wait more. So i decided I have seen all I needed to see. Went back in for a refund and waited again. That let me know that this Is not the place I want to work with. No wonder there was no cars in the parking lot.

Hey, at least they aren’t Arnold Lumber! Arnold is ran by a money hungry family and they do not care about their employees.

Absolutely the worst lumber yard in the state! They do not care about the customers or their customers clients and they will lie outright telling you materials will arrive. We have been trying to get “stocked” decking to a project since October 4th. It was delivered to the wrong place then they kept selling us materials that weren’t in the yard. Finally Dicky the yard manager promised us on Thursday he would get materials to us this morning December 4th and this morning it is going to be Wednesday.Terrible service and one of my most frustrating experiences in 44 years of working in the trades. I would avoid them like the plague and go anywhere else if I were you!

Great place to get all your lumber and supplies. You don't need to pick over 50 pieces of lumber, whether your getting 2'x4', 2'x6' or any other size.NR JR

Bought our entire house of Andersen windows from them. Had one break and opened up some dialogue with the salesman to get a replacement. It's been almost three months and it's still not replaced, nor is it even on track to be. Worst communication and service-after-the-sale ever; they struggle to get back with you. Really, you have to follow up with them. Also they job out the installation to.... whomever, I really have no idea. I guess I'll just be living with my broken window in the meantime, ready to fall apart in a million pieces.Anyway, I ended up ordering directly through the manufacturer, which wasn't all that great an experience either, but at least they got the window written up and ordered in under an hour. I even paid more going this route, but idc; the main thing is it's finally ordered and will be installed all in one charge.UPDATE: Response to owner's response: Good lip service, but sorry, I think it's too late for you to do anything for me. I already ordered the replacement sash directly from Andersen. Bottom line is I was sick and tired of waiting and having this dragged out and I've moved on, because I deserve better than this.

I recently ordered a door and wanted special panels on the side lights. I was told they would call and find out if this was a possibility. I never heard back from them until I received the door and the panel on the door did not match the panel on the side light. I'm not sure why it was made this way or why Coventry Lumber even shipped it to me this way. After going back and forth they would not take responsibility of the door being ordered wrong. I had to pay an additional $500. I was told well you signed the work order. I went to Coventry Lumber knowing I would pay a little more but I figured they knew what they were doing and it would be worth it. Was I mistaken.

Just got off the phone with Bill Bassett in the appliance department. He could not have been nicer. I'd sent him an email on Saturday requesting a conversation about the possibility of purchasing an appliance there. His return call was today, Monday. That was quick service. Thank you, Mr. Bassett and Coventry Lumber.

Went in looking for a custom exterior door prior to COVID for our cabin house which was originally built as a “kit house” and had measurements that were not typical. The staff kept calling my house a “trailer house” or “the weird small house” when referring to my measurements I brought them. They showed me only two options and both were completely opposite of what I was asking for. Went to Coventry Home Depot instead where the staff were amazing and showed me tons of options and gave me the cut I needed that day. I attempted to buy local and was greeted by truly some of the rudest front desk employees. Only giving two stars instead of one because the inside of the store was organized and well put together. All my wood I’ve been buying from Koszela right down the road and they’re more affordable and friendlier too.

Incompetent!! Ordered our deck railings in September of 2021 and they have twice tried to deliver the wrong product! We have spent nearly 10K on railings and we still don't have what we ordered (It's now April 2022)! The worst part is they claim they will get back to you and never do. I highly recommend NOT doing business here. *** Update *** We ended up being refunded our money in early May after we finally fought to cancel the order. Very poor customer service & as I said incompetent staff. I honestly should have known better when it took 3-4 trips and multiple phone calls over 2 weeks just to get a quote.

NEGATIVE 5 stars! We were told our window would come in 3-4 weeks from the order date which was placed in September. We are now being told the ETA is Dec. 22nd which puts our entire kitchen remodel on pause until then. Multiple phone calls were made to follow-up on the status of the window when 4 weeks had past. Each time we were told someone would call us back, well, no one ever called. We also didn't receive notification that the window arrival date had been pushed out. My last phone call with Coventry Lumber was with someone who just gave me the typical, " I'm sorry this happened to you" response with the person on the phone not offering any form of help or information as to why there was miscommunication. Not a professional business if you asked me. We will never do business with Coventry Lumber again!
