my baby bird, the apple of our eyes, this upcoming March will be 2 years since we decided to give adopting a try for the 1st time ever, and absolutely LOVE our mixed breed from LRR. I haven't had facebook in a while to share a pup-date, but she is absolutely a fantastic love bug sweetheart!!!! I hope she lives till at least 17 lol !! our experience with them was good we'd definitely recommend.

Kate is an amazing soul who truly cares for the puppies she is fostering. I am so happy I was able to adopt from her amazing company. Our baby is adjusting and hoping he will finally be able to know what a good home feels like!

I adopted my emotional support dog here…. Rather, she adopted me. I have had Ginger for 2 years and had a wonderful adoption experience at Little Rhody Rescue. She is my constant companion and loves and grooms my 2 cats. She’s from Louisiana so I didn’t know how she would react to snow but, she loves it!! I can’t thank you enough for bringing her into my life.?

I've got to be honest, it hurts me to leave any small business and/or organization anything less then a 5 star review however, when you are lied to right to your face, I think the review is justified. My family and I contacted them approx 1.5 months ago, interested in an animal. We explained to them our current living situation and we were told that the animal in question was 99.9% house trained... Well, it's almost 2 months and I think he successfully made two trips out... MAYBE... Don't get me wrong, the animal had a past and perhaps that's why... I don't know the entire story... but dont lie to people... This lie has costed our family almost $1k. Between the animal using the hardwood floors as a toilet or the countless items we've purchased to help train... I did contact them and they instructed me to resort to some papers they sent home with the animal. I read those pages up and down several times. Zero change.... I was also instructed to reintroduce a crate... granted, sleeping in there isn't a problem which I am thankful for... no change..Being dishonest to families such as mine is part of the problem of why so many dogs end up in situations that are far from perfect. Now I'm sure most families at this point would have either returned or given away... and honestly, I would understand.. might not agree, but understand.I will say that we were well sent off with a few things which was nice, along with all the proper paperwork, small bag of food and I even think a toy... for this is why I didn't leave a single star...While I can greatly appreciate your end goal (getting animals into homes that'll love them and take care of them)... please be 100% truthful to any future adopters... I personally feel that this done on purpose. I feel that this animal was never trained to go outside. This lie has costed this family a-lot of additional money that we were not expected to pay. I'm not asking for money refunded nor are we about ready to return. I just kindly ask you provide future families the 100% truth behind each animal...U/D 11/09/22Before getting a fur baby from these folks, look at the reply to my initial review... "it's not even your pet"...As for doubting the damage from a 15 lb dog... that was a lie as well as he is way more then 15lbs and yes, damage on hardwood floor is expensive... as for the single star rating you claim i left you, it was a two star rating, not one... While you are entitled to think this rating is unfair, I believe it was more then fair. Also, let's call it the way it is.. my parents are not so advanced in computers so yes, it is their pet however I am over their home every day so I wrote the review. As for the crate comment, they're had a crate.. and yes he does sleep in it and go in it but as soon as he steps out of it, he uses the floor as a bathroom.. so yeah, he may be crate trained but that's it... I asked the woman is he houes trained and she said " he's 99% HOUSE TRAINED '' not crate trained.

I adopted two dogs from them. Sadly I returned one dog because he was attacking my morkie of 4 years. Thought I was doing the right thing by returning him to the rescue since my other dog's life was at rusk. They totally misrepresented the reason I returned him and totally declared me as a loser. Hope he found a great home because I did love him and miss his personality when he was not attacking my Morkie.

We were so lucky to adopt a puppy from here. The people who work there are so friendly and understanding. They knew a lot about animals and you could tell they take good care of them. All the dogs looked very happy to be there. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did.

I was nervous going into my first ever adoption from down south. But Little Rhody is amazing and their Louisiana and Texas partners are obviously animal lovers. My two year old Tess is so sweet and came leash trained, loving and loyal. I highly recommend them.

Surprisingly disappointed and rude emails. They put up pets for adoption that they didn’t even have confirmed they would be adopting out. Ok things happen- but no need for rude emails for their error.
