There’s a few things I take issue with this store. There’s rarely any hand baskets on the right side entrance of the store so you have to use a shopping trolley for a few items to go to self check out where’s there’s never enough space. Then you are asked how many paper bags did you use, 10 cents a pop. If you go to the regular check out, not only do they bag your shopping but they don’t charge you for the paper bags. Makes no sense whatsoever. You check yourself out and pay for your bags, you have the cashier check you out and they have someone bagging your shopping in free paper bags. Surely if you are going to charge for paper bags it should be with the cashier not self check out, which you obviously encourage us to use because there is rarely ever more than 2 cashier lanes open.
Now to raspberries and blackberries, why is it they are almost no good after 2 days and they are sold has being fresh ?

Terrible selection, yucky fruit, old and worn out.
Better to shop Market Basket in Maynard or Trader Joe's in Acton.

Spices are lacking. Very expensive and not enough choice. Haven't been able to get Celery Salt here in two months. Job Lot is much more affordable and has more variety.

Constantly out of stock on items particularly in the produce department. Meat department has been closed down. All meat is prepackaged and not cut in store. Prices overall are consistently higher than what you will pay at Market Basket, Shaws, and Shores market. Never have humans at the register, forcing you to use self check out. This never seems to work properly and takes jobs away from people who may need them. I would avoid, unless absolutely necessary.

Experienced a problem with writing a check, telechex, no problem, my bank, no problem, Stop & Shop 800 customer service, problem. 3 calls to them while at service desk constantly being routed to wrong department. Managers gave me groceries from free due to inconvenience dealing with corporate. Stellar employees at the Bristol location.

Mean, older lady at self-checkout tonight. Next time I leave groceries right there and walk out. You don’t snap at the stores customers asking for help because you’re overwhelmed! Embarrassing.

Prices are outrageous! Nothing pisses me off more than placing an online delivery, asking the staff delivering the order to your car is there anything missing? Guaranteed whatever is missing on the invoice is on the dn shelf in the store like my last order..I was sssoooo mad. After having to go in the store and find what was "out of stock" on the shelf. I am disabled and it is VERY difficult for me to walk any length of time. You have no idea how mad I am right now considering I've had to do this for the 4 the time. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR STAFF???? One of the reasons I stay away from Stop and Shop!
