“Dr. Jody is wonderful. She is patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. She always takes the time to explain things to me so that I feel at ease. I can be an overly cautious dog mom but she always treats me with respect and is so accommodating when I have concerns for your pet. She also performs surgeries which makes me feel at ease knowing they are in her care at a critical time. She really cares about the well-being of your animal and I feel confident I can trust her with my furry loves. Dr. Mello and Dr. Crane are also great vets!”

I came in worried sick about my pet bunny & was instantly relieved to find out that she was okay. The staff is so attentive & caring, they are a very busy center but I promise it is worth the patience!”
“Pets in need it’s such a great vet for low income assistance, they are so kind , kris the receptionist was so friendly and helpful provided me with the soonest appointment available, Dr.Krane was the sweetest vet I ever met , treated my fur baby like if it was one of her own. Brought in my 12 year old Shitzu Sophie wasn’t feeling well for weeks, did couple of testings, prescribed her medicine gave her fluids , did get better for few days but she was weak struggling had no energy, we spoke about putting her down this week because of her age, nothing else could be done. She passed on Friday before taking her in yesterday , saddest day of my life. But my fur baby is no longer suffering.

“Took my 13 year old Collette here for the first time the other day for a wellness check-up ....I had a Dr.Rodehorst who was very gentel ( a must ) withy my girl....asked all the right questions and made no sudden movements witch can be alarming to a 13 year old....staff is very friendly....place is very clean...I will be making an appointment in a few months for Collette's son Jason for a wellness checkup”
“If I could give WAH a 5-star review every time my dogs had an appointment I would. They are just phenomenal through and through. The receptionists are lovely to interact with and are always super sweet. My doctor of choice is Dr. Day and I love how comfortable she is around my German Shepherds. She takes things nice and slow, making my dogs feel comfortable even after one of them had a traumatic experience at a previous clinic. Dr. Day was also amazing enough to learn about the process for OFA Thyroid to complete the health testing for my adult GSD! I haven't had a bad experience here and I highly recommend them!!”

“Dr Richard Mello is the owner & vet. He is very dedicated to his patients & although he retired many years ago..he is still there treating his patients most days.WAH is very busy and the worldwide shortage of vets does not help. They are overwhelmed by people bringing their babies to them. They are often booked at least a month out for routine visits. They do their best to accommodate emergency calls. WAH tries to keep their fees reasonable and will work out a payment plan with you if you're honest!Dr Mello's daughter, Dr Jodi is also an experienced excellent vet there for many years. I've heard another long time vet is retiring soon. They have reduced their hours since COVID to Monday- Friday.I highly recommend WAH.”

“Our sweet kitty Tofu has been to Bay State Vet ER twice due to complications with Feline Urinary Disease and we were very impressed with his care both times. Dr. Nelson, Dr. Klocke and all of the staff treated him with a high degree of respect and professionalism. They kept us updated on his care even when they were very busy with urgent cases. I also felt the price was quite reasonable for the level of care provided compared to what we have been charged elsewhere.”
“I’ve had many cats fixed here over the years and it’s always been great! They call with updates throughout the day to let you know how everything is going. One time we rescued a stray cat and we were able to get him there to be neutered. While he was there they noticed he had a mouth infection, cleaned it up and treated him with antibiotics That was several years ago and that cat sleeps on my son’s pillow now almost every night. Thank you guys for such great service and being so affordable! It seems to be a very busy time for cats needing to be fixed so call sooner than later as they may need to put you on a wait list! $50 deposit is required over the phone to keep the appointment. They also do vaccinations and microchipping. They go over all Pre and post-op instructions making it easy to understand.”

“My dog Beau needed a sick appointment and were given one the next day. Greeted kindly by the front staff and were quickly put into a room. Jessica did the intake and took her time gaining Beau's trust. She listened to my concerns and relayed those to Dr. Girard who then came in and was wonderful. She was kind and explained her approach as we came up with a mutually agreed upon plan. I really appreciated their professionalism and felt confident in the care we received there.”

“Dr Caldwell is always so accommodating for our adult dog Bear. Since we adopted him recently as an adult with lots of skin issues, Dr Caldwell and her team has been able to help us navigate his difficulties with ease, regardless of his lack of history (with him but also in general) and, special circumstances. “Went in on July 13th for routine checkup. Our girl Cora needless to say does not particularly care for the Vet. She is the sweetest cat in the world, but anytime we have ever had to bring her for a checkup, she turns into a Cat monster. Hissing, spitting, and just ferocious so the team @ DR Animal Hospital recommended that she be put under a light anesthesia for her visit to make it more comfortable for everyone.I think its fair to say that any good pet owner gets worried whenever their animal is unhappy, distressed and would do anything to make their animal not feel that. The team did everything by the books. I've been to other animal hospitals that do a terrible job with the whole empathy thing. When we dropped her off, we left knowing that she is in great hands! The best part is how they handled our visit when time to settle up. We were having an issue with our CareCredit card as we have not used it in a long time and had a new card that we never did activate. After calling Care Credit, they informed us that DR AH could look up our account. With a little hard work from Mackenzie and the rest of the team, we were able to get the problem resolved and use our CareCredit card with 6 months of no interest! I wish I knew any of the other Vet's names, but there were good vibes on every single part of the Visit! Highly recommend and our other buddy Dawson will be by in a few days for his checkup as well!!!Customer for life!! Thanks to DR Animal Hospital and their staff”

We were able to get in quickly and the appointment ran efficiently. They were gentle with my cat even with him having anxiety. I appreciate everyone for being kind.”
