This place is awful. My mother brought a 500.00 queen comforter in to be cleaned and they returned an old worn comforter that looked like it might have been a twin size. When she tried to rectify this issue she was given the run around by Joe and his workers. Every time she was told to call back he was conveniently on the road or unavailable. She finally went to the business and all Joe was concerned with was getting back the wrong comforter that they gave her. She filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will pursue it. The comforter was a gift and she didnt even have it a year. Joe needs to be held accountable for his poor business practice. He is a poor excuse for a man and a terrible business owner. Also, I will add that my mom worked at Prestige Cleaners for a very short time before having to quit, so if Joe can do this to someone he knew he is capable of doing anything to anyone without care. This man has very poor work ethics and shows disgusting behavior by a human. If you value your clothing/dry cleaning do not take them to this establishment.

This place is a horrible place to take your dry he loses your clothes Burns tablecloths and does not take responsibilities with his customer belongings!! I wouldn't even give this place a one-star review he's horrible to his employees if you forget to punch in and out you do not get paid for your shift he is a horrible boss who does not pay his employees. The only person I feel bad for over there is Gary He's underpaid and over worked and all theowner does is talk bad about him owner does is talk bad about him

I only gave it one straw because I had to this is a horrible cleaners in Barrington he will literally wipe the dirt off your clothes and throw it in the dryer and call it clean.. the owner is a horrible person who does not pay his employees and it's also sad that he hires a bunch of Mexicans who barely speak English and are not citizens of this country get paid pennies for cash and then he still doesn't pay them that's why he can't hold help at least good help anyway besides Gary who has been with the company for 20 something years and is way underpaid I want to suggest bringing your clothes there to get cleaned

I have been going to Prestige cleaners for 5+ years. They do an amazing job! I recently purchased a high-end dress from an online consignment store (final sale & not returnable). The dress sadly had some bad stains on the front. I immediately took it to Prestige cleaners because they have a guy there who can work magic on stains like this. In just 2 days, Prestige made this dress look brand new. I am so grateful!!!

Had 2 blankets cleaned. They were covered in fur when I got them back. This happened twice. Asked for $ back as I want to bring them elsewhere. The store ppl were argumentative, would not give me contact info of owner. Told only that owner would not speak with me. These blankets have been cleaned twice/year. No probs. Really, all they had to do was roll a defuzzer over the fabric, if indeed the fuzz came from the fabric. Prob solved. They had zero interest in making the situation right.

Blankets cleaned/returned w white fuzz all over them. Brought back, told they'd never seen that. Cleaned again, same situation. Told that it was the blanket fabric. Note: these have been cleaned twice per yr. Never an issue. Wouldn't give me owner's name and contact info. Was told the owner didn't care and would not talk w me. All I want is my $ back and I'll go else where. Apparently owner's name is Joe Morelli.

terrible service, lousy attitudes. we are done with prestige. they mix up orders. charged us for a dress never laundered, given us other persons clothes and do nothing to make things right. if you value your time and quality try another place.

Alot of the reviews are right,clothes always gets lost ,owner mentally abuses his employees, he makes his staff lie for him when he can't face customers complaining about there missing clothes that he lost,unprofessional !

Took my husband’s shirts here to get cleaned and they lost some. They didn’t believe me when I told them they were missing. The owner Joe refused to talk to me told me he looked on the cameras and saw me leave with everything I came in for. Two weeks later, they found the shirts in their storage room. He could’ve made right by taking accountability and discussed compensating me, but instead accused me of lying. So disappointed to see such poor service.

I've been using Prestige Cleaners in Barrington for many years. They have always been courteous, attentive and professional. Today I chose to write a review because they really went above and beyond! I picked up a favorite linen skirt that had multiple stains that were dug in over many years of wear. After they suggested a wet cleaning after a dry cleaning didn't yield the best results, I was happily surprised to see every stain completely gone! Great attention to customer service- they really want their customers to be happy. Thanks Prestige! (Barrington resident)

I brought in garments to be dry cleaned; others that needed to be pressed only. They do not do pressing as their website states. The person at the reception, to put it bluntly, was an unctuous j*** and fortunately I only parted with one item (as he refused to press the other items—seriously? What kind of a dry cleaners doesn’t have a presser??) I’m glad I had this experience because I will never use a service that does the “shake down” to get a few extra dollars in lieu of my service.Lastly, their parking area is high risk of accident because it’s impossible to back out if a vehicle (especially a mail truck) parks behind you. Unless you have a drone, you will hit that vehicle. The parking space should be illegal for code violations. But see for yourself and back out if you dare.I would never use this place again if you discounted me $100 a visit.
