“Dr. Jody is wonderful. She is patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. She always takes the time to explain things to me so that I feel at ease. I can be an overly cautious dog mom but she always treats me with respect and is so accommodating when I have concerns for your pet. She also performs surgeries which makes me feel at ease knowing they are in her care at a critical time. She really cares about the well-being of your animal and I feel confident I can trust her with my furry loves. Dr. Mello and Dr. Crane are also great vets!”

“Can not believe the amazing service provided to us at this location by both employees working this morning. I have a reactive dog but very much wanted to use the self washing stations. They made this experience so easy and so amazing for both me and my dogs. Honestly anytime I’ve ever been here they have been so good but today blew me away. I’m so grateful for people like them. All the while they had an adoption event going on. I can not say thank you enough! Best pet supplies store ever!”

“Dr Richard Mello is the owner & vet. He is very dedicated to his patients & although he retired many years ago..he is still there treating his patients most days.WAH is very busy and the worldwide shortage of vets does not help. They are overwhelmed by people bringing their babies to them. They are often booked at least a month out for routine visits. They do their best to accommodate emergency calls. WAH tries to keep their fees reasonable and will work out a payment plan with you if you're honest!Dr Mello's daughter, Dr Jodi is also an experienced excellent vet there for many years. I've heard another long time vet is retiring soon. They have reduced their hours since COVID to Monday- Friday.I highly recommend WAH.”
“I have been buying collars and harnesses from Up Country since my pup, Pippa, came home with me seven years ago from the Springfield Humane Society. They are high quality, fun, and reflect her personality. Yesterday her cherry blossom and Halloween sets arrived and she almost has one for every month of the year!”
“The owner has always guided me with my aquarium needs. From saltwater fish, corals, RO water, tank maintenance. His tanks are well maintained and he always has a great selection of fresh and saltwater fish. I have never had an issue with any corals or fish that I have purchased.
Thursday’s are his busiest days. So, if you go on a Friday you most likely won’t have a big selection to choose from. He’s so nice and honest. You can’t get any better than this guy!”
“James the groomer went absolutely above in beyond to meet mine and my puppies needs. He totally exceeded my expectations! When I dropped her off he made me and my dog feel super comfortable, and I know he was awesome with her because when he walked her out, her tail was wagging. She looks and smells great. “my 1st time adopting with forever paws this past january, and it was quick, seamless, and just great overall. i had adopted my 1st cat from a different shelter a year and a half ago, and knew i wanted to adopt another but was waiting til i was ready. i follow forever paws on all socials and when they posted a pic of Arizona (now named Clementine) i fell in love with her and applied right then. within 2 days i had an appt to meet her and she has now been home with me & my tabby Blueberry for over a month. they are still getting used to eachother but i know they will be besties soon enough. I am so thankful that I found Clementine. she is such a lovebug, super sweet, funny and such a goober. I love her so much. thank you to Joyce (i think her name was, if not forgive me, i have a terrible memory) for calling me a few days ago to check in with me post adoption, you are so funny and so kind! and thank you to the forever paws staff for making my 2nd adoption so pleasant. if i adopt again in the future i will consider forever paws as my first choice and will recommend to anyone looking to adopt ❤️”
“I've had dogs my whole life, after the last passed, and with my schedule, I decided to adopt a cat. I went into to petco to just look around and pick up a few things. I did not expect the great conversation and all of the wonderful advice and tips I got from Danielle. She answered all my (stupid) questions and even during a pretty busy time when she had to step away she made sure to come back over and check on me often. Awesome customer service, will be returning.”

“I cannot say enough about this place. EVERYONE from the girl who answered my frantic phone call, to the front desk, vet techs and the surgeon who did the emergency surgery on Gemma and the tech who pulled her drain. Each and everyone of them were so kind and compassionate. They made a very scary situation ALOT easier. Hopefully Gemma will be healed enough on Thursday to have her staples removed and we will NEVER have to go back again. But definitely will be where I'd bring her again if she ever needs emergency help.”

“My children have found a love for beareddrangon as a newer owner of reptiles Andrew who works Closely with the reptiles is very knowledgeable of reptiles and of his job along with all the staff I have encountered at this petco location I had to come in on and emergency my daughter's beareddrangon had sadly passed away after owning her for a few days over month the manager along with Andrew took good care of us and helped me replace a beareddrangon before my 10yr old daughter came home from school unfortunately she fingered out as soon as she got home the beareddrangon looked smaller n had a blacker head so we did have to explain the difference she cried a bit but was very happy and is bonded with her new bearedie friend ty to all the staff and great manger who came to our rescue in need and understood how these little animal touch our human hearts ?”
