“Max Formal Co is a wonderful hidden gem in Providence, full of unique textiles and vintage styles. Furthermore, Paul and Debbie, who own the business and rent out the apartments next door, are beacons in the community and amazing at what they do. I've lived in one of their apartments for the past two years and whenever there's been even the smallest issue, Paul has jumped in right away with a solution. He always makes himself available to help someone who is struggling. Paul and Debbie are the type of genuine people you don't always get lucky enough to come by, and I cannot recommend them and their business enough.”

782 Hope St, Providence“Just a tiny boutique with a big bang! I love this shop because somehow they always have what I don't know I want or need. In the beginning of the summer I got a dress by Choklate/Paris. I got a zillion compliments on it and then I bought another for a dear friends birthday and another for the fall. They have dresses /outfits for daily wear or special events that are super stylish and original. I have also picked up some great jewelry and a poncho for insanely reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed, it's da bomb.”
“Really fun store with so many unique, cute, AND high quality products that no other place in Providence has. I always find something to get myself or friends - whether it be socks, a journal, a nice greeting card, or hair accessories. The store staff are also super nice.”
“Super fair prices and the owner helped me find my perfect fit and gave me some amazing recommendations it was definitely worth the drive. I will most definitely come back here for all of my shoes from now on.”
“Up2ournecksinfabric is my go to store for personalized gifts for every occasion. For four years I have been getting customized mothers day gift for my wife from custom shirts with our kids names to stuffed elephants with their birth stats. All the staff members have been kind and work with me to ensure each design is perfect!”
“I am so happy and thankful for the help and attentiveness I received at Fajas Colimbianas! Elsy the owner is so kind and helpful! I can’t thank her enough I wish I could give more than 5 stars!”
“I walked into this Garage store, mainly because my husband's niece used to work here and she was always saying good things about the store and the brand. I looked around for something for one of my nieces and I found a lot of really nice "young" fashion. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to other stores that cater to young females, but the look and the styles are definitely different and a bit more trendy. Garage primarily targets fashion for young women. Founded in 1975 as a subsidiary of Groupe Dynamite, Garage currently has locations in Canada and the United States. The first store opened in Quebec in 1975 and in 2007, they opened their first stores in the USA. Now many American malls have Garage clothing stores.”
“The store seems closed but they are always there to help. Just walk in. My wife and I went there yesterday to get a hangbag from Coach. The experience was great!”

58 Providence Pl, Providence“This is one of the best Hot Topic around. The Providence Place Mall is a very busy place, reminds me of the old malls where you can go and get the products in person. My daughter loves the variety that this hot topic provides. Alot of those Japanese anime stuff,to bands,to Pokémon products. Give it a try.”

“Love her clothing line. I own several pieces and every time I'm out I always get compliments and questions. If you're looking for that one of a kind item to add to your wardrobe, APD is the place. I'll be adding more items when her next line is revealed.”

“Charlie has a wealth of information on menswear. Each conversation I had with him I was able to learn a lot. I had a custom suit made and the turnaround was faster than expected and it came out great. He’s also a great guy in general. Will for sure be returning for future menswear. The seamstress Pat who also works there is also great. She nailed all my suit measurements and so when I put it on it felt perfect.”

6 Franklin St, Bristol“Fun place to browse. They have a lot of work my Rhode Island artists including some work I recognized from a painter in Providence and a guy in Wayland Square that makes elaborate leather bounded journals. They also had some jewelry and interesting assortments of rocks like geodes and crystals. Intriguing design elements for sale too like metal grates and lattices. Unfortunately they close at 5 and we came in right at closing so didn't have much time to look around. Would be a good spot for gifts although the prices are a bit high for many items.”

197 Wickenden St, Providence“This store is everything! They have a specific extended size section, which rocks! It’s clear they put a ton of thought and care into each of the pieces they carry. The employees are incredibly kind and supportive. I can always count on Sabrina to help me style clothing and boost my confidence. Yay Nava! Best boutique in Providence hands down.”
“Queen of Hearts opened its doors for the first time in 2006 by Karen Beebe. The store is a fashion boutique featuring cool jewelry, colorful dresses, and unique accessories. Last time I stopped by, I was checking some jewelry accessories for a gift....they do have lots of fun stuff that you don't usually see at a larger department store. Year round, the store provides complimentary gift wrapping for all purchases...The business is very dog-friendly.”
“This was the 3rd North Face location I visited looking for a specific item. Aaron was extremely helpful and attentive. Even on a busy day such as Black Friday. We need more people like Aaron in the customer service industry!”

122 Providence Pl, Providence“Miguel was super helpful, not only putting up with my crazy antics during my return of some clothes that didn't fit well, but helping me save $17.60 with a price adjustment on 2 shirts. The shirts themselves are fantastic. I love the geometric and abstract designs, which are unfortunately becoming harder to find nowadays. Keep up the good work!”
“The owners were very nice and inviting. The clothing was high quality, from casual to evening wear, and the prices were very reasonable. I left there with 2 evening dresses, a casual dress an a few other items and paid $47. I recommend you visit this store.”
