Been making deposits here for years, only bank that has ever made me feel like I'm doing something wrong putting money into my wife's account. Service is allways quirky, sometimes they are polite sometimes they want to make it as hard as possible to do the simplest things. They absolutely profile you. I wish I could talk my wife out of moving her account, this place is awful.

If you are a person of color do not go here, the tellers will racially profile you and treat you poorly. I came here to make a deposit into someone’s citizens bank account with my license and when I gave them the info the teller looked at me like I didn’t belong in there. She then asked me for my social security card and mentioned it’s a new policy to make deposits. I was a little confused considering I had just made a deposit a month ago at another citizens. But I said okay, I didn’t have my social security card and left. Well, I decided to try again, except this time my girlfriend whom was not of color, went in this time. And without a shock, they didn’t ask her for her social security card. And she was easily able to make the deposit. It was only until she asked why they asked me and not her for more identification that they started making excuses that some tellers know about the new policy and some don’t. It’s 2022 and somehow we still have banks that think that anyone who is of color is not good enough to use their services.

Filomena Costa gave my family such a hard time resolving an issue after a family member had passed regarding her account. Rolled her eyes and didn’t offer any solution for the problem, and threw the papers back at me. She was so unprofessional, offered no sympathy for the situation. Absolute no regard for human emotions… if this is how a branch manager of Citizens Bank conducts their customer service, then many people should take their business elsewhere.

Save your time, don't use this place. You're not a valued customer. Tia Chea misrepresented the company stating she was the manager when she was only the assistant manager. What a dishonest and rude person.

Avoid doing business with this lender. I was trying to refi my rental with Citizens Bank because I was quoted a decent rate. However the loan process was insane! I provided all docs up front and every week they wanted some new. I was supposed to be clear to close with last conditions received by underwriting. Then they said they needed the rental comps from the appraiser that they sent 2 months ago and then added more conditions. This dragged on for almost 3 months and I finally called off the refi. What's a waste of time, energy, effort, and money. I will NEVER do any business with this lender again. If you are a consumer and reading this, trust me. Avoid the pain and go with another lender.

Very kind people here. For a mega bank that fees you at every turn, they still do a good job making it feel like a community bank, so have to give them credit for that.
