“Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff, able to talk geek at a high level. Wonderful selection. Came into town for this shop, and didn't leave disappointed. Left with some swag and a Howard collection.”
“Riffraff Books in PVD, is a one-of-a-kind gem that combines a curated selection of books with a hip neon bar atmosphere. Whether you're a bookworm searching for hidden literary gems or some tea and pastry this is for you.Bro their book Selection: is WILD but in a good way. You won't find the lastest book ghost written book by James Patterson or Danielle Steele here. This bookshop is devoted to independent, and alternate presses and even has some zines. You're sure to find something unexpected and delightful to add to your bookshelf. It's always a fun time to walk here and the factory living and working center they're located in is beautiful for the city to revitalize an old mill!!!!!!”
“Books on the Square punches above its weight. Everyone on staff is very kind and their $1 books and used book deals cannot be beat. I also really enjoy their selection of Rhode Island specific trinkets and cards and I always come here when I am shopping for gifts.”
“A really fun bookstore in the heart of Providence. The displays are great, usually the flat lays include a book or two that I am looking for. The coolers for soft drinks/waters are also a nice feature.”
“As a local game store they have a very good selection of games. They have had game events in the past I can't say if they still do. This is my first choice to go look for something.”
“This was my second time at the Waterfire Art Center for an event. This time I attended Little City Thrifty Vintage event. There were many vendors with beautiful vintage fashion clothing, shoes, decors that you could choose from or just walk around to meet many of the business owners to know more about their shops location if you weren't able to make a purchase at that time. I did a whole walk around.”

107 Ives St, Providence“An amazing gem! Filled with beautifully presented and thoughtfully curated books (twenty highlighted stories per month), kind staff, as well as journals, local art/products made by RISD grads, tees, puzzles and much more. There's something here for everyone. Unexpectedly, we particularly loved the books in their kids section. Very dog friendly, always a plus. Loved it so much that we will be sure to stop by next time we're down from Boston.”
“Great selection of magazines and even maps! Looks small outside but inside is a surprise Full of great reading! Always kind friendly service too! If you're in the area, we recommend you stop in and take a look for yourself.”

54 Fall River Ave, Rehoboth“Cute little shop, and amazing products. The spell kits are very effective and easy to follow, and work incredibly well. The owner is so sweet and great to talk to. I love this shop so much! Many blessings!”
11AM - 7PM
19 S Angell St, Providence“It is a great little store when looking to purchase a book as a gift, it doesn't seem to be the fun kind of store where someone could spend hours looking through the stacks.”
12 - 5PM
488 Main St, Warren“Great selection of books! Really amazing cookbooks I added to my collection. A local bookstore that will warm your heart. It felt like the unique books were individually picked by the owners, not a big box store”
“Amazing spot! Art plus books plus snacks! When I visited today I was the only person in the store and was totally free to browse and enjoy the art and books. They had an amazing collection of retablos by Peruvian artist Zuly Palomino as well as work by other artists. I did not partake of any snacks since I just had breakfast but they had a nice set up with a bar counter as well as tables closer to the books. Lots of fiction and some non fiction and a really good selection of cookbooks- lots of Barefoot Contessa books. Really look forward to stopping in here the next time I'm in Warren.”
9AM - 6PM
244 Thayer St, Providence“Most incredible experience my daughter has ever had. Her goal is to attend Brown, so on vacation we decided to check out the bookstore and grab a souvenir. The staff there was so incredible including one amazing woman who decided to bless it forward. It made the entire vacation. We cannot thank her enough. Hopefully she sees this time know how much it meant. Loyal future Brown kid!”
9AM - 5PM
30 N Main St, Providence“Heaven for artists. Everything you need to buy for your project except creativity. Huge paper section. (I bought some Italian paper/prints of flowers, mushrooms, birds, etc for about $6 each that I plan to frame.) They have a huge selection of journals, too. Michaels is a consumerist joke compared to this store. Honestly, you could spend two hours here, salivating.”
6AM - 2:30PM
Orient Ave, Pawtucket“Have received 2 single book orders from here and both were shipped with unbelievable care, better than purchasing new off the shelf. Appreciate that they value used books as much as myself. I live in Ontario Canada.”
“Sparkling gem in downtown Providence. Small, but chock full of African American history. So much to see and read. Full of classic books and publications, many signed. Ray and Rob both were very welcoming. Profits support their program to teach inner city youth, especially from the Black community, how to swim. A great place to visit. You could stay all day! Hope to visit when I'm in the area again.”
10AM - 4PM
The Commons, 1 Old Ferry Rd, Bristol“School store for all your RWU needs. Though calling it a "Barnes and Noble" is wierd as they only cary ordered books. More of a partnership if you will. Very overpriced as well.”
“Great selection of books as well as STEAM toys. The people there are friendly and always ready to assist you in finding that perfect gift (gift wrap it for FREE ??) for any age range.”
