This store got rid of the removable pole allowing people with strollers and wheelchairs to exit out of the main door. When I asked for help getting out, I was met with anger and annoyance. This is so disappointing, and makes me feel like my son and I are not welcome or accepted here.

Hello, I have been shopping at this store pretty much my whole life! It’s been renovated many times and changed owners many times too. However, lately, I am disappointed by the lack of cleanliness throughout the store and how unfriendly the staff has become. It’s more expensive than other supermarkets so you would expect an environment to match, especially since they’re selling food! Please clean up your act and hire staff that can at least smile ?

I use the self service and have always found it efficient and fast and the products are always in that i look for. The management team is also helpful and if something goes wrong they take care of you.

My family used to shop at this location when it was Steinbergs when we lived in NDG when I was a little kid. I visited the area recently like this Metro clean store they had the Salata seasoned vinegar dressing by Khune from Germany I can not find anymore at the stores I normally shop at on the West Island got three bottles even though it was pricey also the bread here is nice fresh.

High, high prices. Rotten food with no refunds. Incompetent, patronizing, belligerent staff and management. Overcharging at cash. Don't shop here. They try to suck every cent out of you while giving as little as humanly possible in return. They don't deserve your money. I'd give them a zero if I could.

This Metro Is an alright Grocery store
Here is my review.
Pros:
A) Location is good near Downtown.
B) The Store is big and they have many selections to choose from.
C) Pretty clean as well.
Cons:
A) Pretty pricey for my budget.
B) The store did not restock enough or better.
C) The store needs better employees and communication that can more suit the people.
Other than that. It’s an alright Food store and I maybe don’t want to comeback but I do hope they change and improve on better services for the residents.
For now I’m indifferent.

Great finds sometimes ('artisanal' soups but products often too expensive, industrial and bad tasting (tiny little tart with chemical taste and not great $20, butter $8 expensive)
We should be inspired by what is good, healthy, refined, varied and inexpensive, instead of the opposite...
Well organized counters. Apart from yogurts, ZERO TRACE OF caramel creams, Liège coffees, coffee mousses, chocolate mousses, rice pudding, crème brulée, tapioca cream... There are JUST yogurts and cheese tarts ?) A little variety and tasteful would do good. Why not apricot, strawberry and apple tarts? there are so many ideas out there...
The staff are often charming and efficient, sometimes downright unsightly. The aisles leading to the checkouts are too narrow. Overall it's an acceptable store, there are worse places. Westmount NDG Metro

Best market that is actually trying to lower their prices by 8%. Plus it is one of the cleanest stores around.
