Me and my boyfriend searched a lot for a place that agreed to cut a 3 cm thick laminated wood board. This Rona is the only one to offer this service, even if the board did not come from the store. They charge $4.50 per cut.
The carpentry, hardware and cashier employees were all very courteous. We recommend this store!

I was advised by Raymond who has worked in the wood department for 30 years. This man is a true legend, patient, knows his stuff. He made sure he understood my needs and took the time to explain everything to me. Having quality advice like that in a local hardware store is worth gold to me. The service I received from Linda at the checkout was also very cordial and attentive.

wish this were a corporate and not a franchise rona.
the price gouging is ludicrous, they don't honour the company price match policy, they barely follow provincial laws on price accuracy and refund rights, and it is a cluttered nightmare.
the basement also reeks of mold so RIP to all of you buying air conditioners here
they are also always hiring staff, revolving door with rot coming from the top

I would like to highlight the excellent service received from two employees who work in the basement:
They ask good questions in order to fully understand the need and offer the best solution
They explain to you how to repair or solve a problem in a clear and clear way - not always easy online or over the phone
They do not sell a product just to sell, but to avoid financial and material waste
In short, their service is second to none: courteous, polite, respectful and transparent.
It's a breath of fresh, human air in a world and even in the field of retail that is becoming more and more transhuman, artificial and soulless.

Madam Owner gives an execrable and repulsive welcome. Fortunately, the employees in the woods are helpful and friendly despite everything. I've done a lot of remodeling over the years and spent a lot on this Rona, but now I'm going to go somewhere else. I advise you to buy elsewhere if you can.

I went there today to get a table lamp. And the employee who answered me was beyond friendly and helpful.He even recommended what kind of bulb to use. Really happy with the good service.Big change to a competitor that I'm just going to say is a "Tired Canadian" where customer service is practically absent. ?Then the lamp looks really awesome on my dresser. ?EDIT: Always great service I receive here. ?

Sold extremely low quality goods (unusable) and completely refused a refund. Very nice people, but unacceptable policies.
