I was there picking up bird seed which I do on a regular basis. I saw a humming bird feeder last in the row at 15.97. So I picked this up as well. At the self check out an employee punched in the two items for me. The bird feeder was charged at 34. something. We went to check and I showed him where I took it from. The price was not written on the item either. He asked the department head who told me that it must have been misplaced by a customer. He then said to me that if I want a job I can work with him and help him organize things.
Quite rude!
I did not have the time to pursue this further nor did I have my phone with me.
The fellow at the check out was very helpful and asked if I wanted him to call the manager.
I always have a good experience except for this time

Overall, my experience with Home Depot was good, especially their in-store services.
This is for home depot overall not specific to this store only.
I was disappointed with their support regarding contractors. I requested a heat pump replacement through Home Depot and received a call at an odd hour, followed by another the next day, which felt strange. A contractor showed up, but I had no idea if he was from Home Depot. He gave me a quote for both the heat pump and furnace. When I called customer support to verify if he was legitimate, they had no information and told me to check in-store. At the store, they couldn’t help either and referred me back to online support. Despite having all the contractor’s details, Home Depot had no record of him. This raises concerns about potential scams in the future, where Home Depot might blame customers for not verifying—despite offering no way to confirm contractor legitimacy.

Another wonderful customer experience had when visiting the store this past Wednesday evening. This time by a person named Robert, who was not only a big help to me but also a wonderful human being.
He approached me to ask if I needed help and took the time to explain things and provide me with proper assistance and respect. As a woman who frequents hardware stores, I can tell you that it's not always easy to get taken seriously. It's sad but it is what it is. I am happy to say that this has never been the case at this Home Depot location. And it's because of employees like Robert that I keep coming back time and time again instead of going to the competition.
Thanks again Robert! And good job Home Depot Vaudreuil for hiring great employees :)

Great store, lots of selection. Wasn't great for me, some of the items listed on there web site, as being available in store , were actually not available in store. This was frustrating as that's why I went to the store. But they had a suitable replacement.
